So I have had a terrible time with Smart Cover I really cannot understand their rating. After 5 months they never did anything for me to warrant more than one star. So I decided to reduce my cover and give some business back to my previous provider. I checked on their availability for a phone call Saturday from 10am so I phoned. I was position 1 in the queue I thought great. After 35 minutes I was still hanging on the line at position 1. I gave up. Phoned again the following Monday at 9.01 am. Phone rang for 25 minutes I started at position 2 and moved up to position 1. THEN a very nice guy answered the phone. By this time I had decided to cancel my cover. I explained I wanted to close the account. He said I can help you with that then changed his mind. HE TOLD ME HE WAS ADMIN STAFF AND THERE WERE NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT STAFF IN THE BUILDING SO HE COULD NOT HELP ME BUT SOMEONE WOULD CALL ME BACK. I was astonished after calling at the advised time 9.am onwards no customer support working. Two days later no one phoned me back so I cancelled my direct debit and sent them an email. I don’t know who all these people are getting great service but I have never received that in 5 months. Smart Cover are a waste of time and money.
