Very happy the roman blind that arrived within the specified timings and fits beautifully. I asked to amend the order (to not be black out lined) after it had been placed and was delighted to speak to a very helpful employee who checked to see if the material had been cut (it hadn't) and arranged for the alteration and refund with no admin fee or quibble.

Considering this was a bespoke made to measure set of blackout blinds, the overall experience was simple, clear and the blinds arrived in good time and are absolutely stunning. I did get a sample of the material first ( always advise you do this) and the end product was exactly what I wanted.

Very speedy quality service and love the Roman blind not hung yet as for a property abroad but will be in September . The only issue was the delivery driver pushed it under the gate at 7.30 one morning when there was light rain luckily I was in but just to let you know .

Very pleased with the quality of the Roman blind. Arrived within 15 days as promised. A slight problem with the measurement-it arrived 2cms narrower than ordered but as it was for the outside of the window, it was ok. I will order another blind without hesitation.

Great quality Roman Blinds which arrived exactly within timeframe (which was quick!)

Second time I’ve used Sewing House. This time the samples I ordered weren’t quite right so I telephoned for advice and they were really helpful and are sending me more samples.

The clips that hold the blind in place on the tracks are fiddly and we have had lots of roman blinds over the years and haven't experienced this before. Also one of the blinds wasn't quite as well made as the other 2, one of the folds isn't flat

My blind was delivered over a month after I placed my order and the Sewing House said that this was due to the fabric being out of stock. The order should not have been accepted if they did not have the fabric and I was not informed straight away. The item eventually arrived but was not what I thought I had ordered. The item that arrived was gold coloured but was listed in the yellow section and what I thought I had ordered, yellow (lemon) was not what arrived. The gold coloured blind was listed in the yellow section which I think is wrong because when it came to the checkout it did not look any different, the picture was not clear and they looked the same and so I checked out thinking I had purchased the lemon coloured blind only to find it wrong when it arrived. I contacted the Sewing house but was told that it could not be returned as the name of the colour which I did not see was there when I checked out. I feel this was very unfair as they looked the same and I do not think they should be listed next to each other because they look so similar. I did not look at the name because I did not know there was a name for the colour I ordered, yellow is yellow to me. The gold coloured blind is listed in the yellow section and should be listed as gold in a different section and under the colour gold, they are two different colours. I spent £220 on the blind. The company have said that the blinds are made to order and cannot be returned and they have not excepted any responsibility on their side.
