I decided to use An Post based on reviews, particularly Trustpilot. I filled in the online forms, send my documentation and didn't hear back for 3+ days. When I called I was told the original policy was invalid as my last car was a company vehicle. I was told I would need a new application with only one underwriter option. I was given a very uncompetitive quote (+€300) and told I had no other options. I went through all the paperwork by phone, paid the additional premium and thought that was fhe end of it. I then get a call today saying there was a mixup and I need to be charged for cancelling the original policy - I was never informed of a cancellation fee - and I must pay another €60. I have 20 years driving experience with zero claims over the 20 year period, a full Irish license and no penalty points. Your customer service is shocking, I feel duped into signing up with An Post and I'm half expecting another phone call later this week with more hidden charges associated with my policy

I had to contact your office at least 4 times to forward on my insurance details asking for A (letter of indemnity) after been told it was sent by email i did not receive it only on the 4th time of trying and to date still have not got a hard copy which i requested

I love how easy it is to get a quote and you are always so competitive, sometimes even against yourself. I always get a new quote that's cheaper than my renewal which you can n very match on my existing policy. I'm just glad it's so easy to set up a new policy online, makes life very easy
