Even though my son had sent in a copy of my husbands death cert and a solicitors letter stating he was the executor he was still told only could speak with the policy holder. This was a tough time for all my family and wasnt made any easier when even a basic An post policy question surrounding a death of the policy holder wouldnt not be answered unless they could speak to the policy holder. 3 different staff members gave the same reply.

I was told by one of your staff that it was not a barrier to my no claims bonus. I sent you evidence that the oustanding claim was settled and waited for your new quote despite the fact that I had paid you already. As I did not have your new quote, I went ahead and re-insured with my old company before 15ty Dec. I now find that you went ahead with cover on the 16th.
