Australia | 19 March 2025What looked to be an official bill arrived to renew my business name. This scam company just send a letter to all companies when they’re nearing renewal and try to make it look official. Asking for $449 when it’s under $50 through ASIC. Also cleverly worded to say it’s a $50 discount because if you don’t renew (through ASIC) it’s a $501 fee to reinstate.

Australia | 13 March 2025Scam company sending spam letters and contact seeking to make money off registrations you can do yourself without their interference. The business should be shut down immediately.

Australia | 08 March 2025I would give this company 0 if I could. They con people to think they are ASIC. You pay the invoice they send in the mail believing you are renewing your business name with ASIC. These types of tactics are fraudulent and when you realise the mistake you made they refuse to refund the entirety of the fees paid. So bad and shame on them. This is a common tactic and other companies do the same thing. Shame on you!!!

Australia | 03 March 2025Scam, you can pay via ASIC directly (and very easily) for less than 10% for what they want to charge you (ASIC charges $44, they want $449). They are clearly pretending to be official and preying on busy people who will just assume it is official and pay it. If you receive such a letter, you should consider reporting them to fair trading as a scam, as I have.

Australia | 03 March 2025This is an outright scam, and it's infuriating that they’re allowed to operate like this in Australia. The fact that they’re disguising their letter to look like an official government notice is deceptive and unethical. They’re banking on people not scrutinising the details, hoping to trick them into paying $449 for something they could easily do themselves for $44 through the official government site. The use of a .com.au domain instead of a .gov.au is one of the only giveaways, along with the fine print, deliberately misleading. Definitely report them to Fair Trade; these kinds of predatory tactics shouldn't be tolerated.

Australia | 25 February 2025Scam company, pretending to be official. They put threats of fines in their letter. I can't believe ASIC let these scammers operate in Australia. Taking advantage of business owners often too busy to notice it's not official. If you look at their 5 star reviews on Trustpilot, they are also fake. The reviews are from US, GB and other countries with AI generated gibberish. None of them would have renewed a business name in Australia.

Australia | 22 February 2025Scam company that pretends to be ASIC by emailing and mailing prior to your renewal dates and charging huge fees. No customer service, very dishonest business. Stay away at all costs.

Australia | 06 February 2025Total scam, they send you a letter in the mail and attempt to charge an massive fee to keep your business registered. ASIC is where you renew at fraction of the cost.

Australia | 03 September 2024The 'business name renewal' letters you receive from these companies are a scam. Wait for the official ASIC renewable letter and save your money.

Australia | 14 January 2024A company is fraudulently deceiving Australian business owners with fake renewal notices, attempting to transfer their business name at a higher cost. It is unethical and important for the government to intervene. Renew directly with ASICS. It's cheaper and more secure.

Rob
Australia | 08 January 2024Scammers. This is not the ASIC or any government department. They scrape your ABN and address from the ASIC web site and send you letters. edit: 3rd invoice received in the mail. They obviously make a killing on this as they can afford to send millions of emails in the physical mail system. It is truly incredible the government even allows this.

Australia | 19 December 2023Absolute scammers. Alluded to be ASIC in their letters. They are not. Unfortunately realised five minutes after paying. Phoned to get a refund and was blocked. Email sent to get a refund and nothing received. Taking to consumer affairs and the bank. It is an absolute scam! Be aware!

Australia | 01 August 2023ASIC sends notifications to all business name holders. This company has taken it in their own right to scrape the entire business name database and send official looking letters. I got conned by these letters. Now I realise it’s junk mail, but comes across as official. Ignore these letters folks, you can renew with ASIC 30 days prior to expiry for half the price.
