Disposing of some unwanted gold jewellery and I found Chards to be very fair, open and honest, and trustworthy. The whole process was efficient, friendly, and comfortably quick, and I felt a valued client. I recommend them to anyone, and if ever I need to sell old gold again I shall certainly return.

As always a smooth transaction, items arrived well packaged and as described, usually better than described. I use Chards when purchasing silver coins and bars because they are trusted and a well established family firm, also never overpriced.

The customer service is extremely disappointing. For the past three days, I've been trying to contact them to get my items delivered, but they neither respond to emails nor phone calls, except to say it will take 48 hours. Every day, it's the same message. I highly suspect they either don't have the item in the vault or have used them for another sale. There's no reason for them to delay the delivery of my item. I regret using this company for purchasing and storing my items. The buying experience was equally bad. There must be strong reason why they aren't processing my request which I suspect must be due to some malpractice.

I chose Chards based not just on price (although they were very competitive), but as a novice I found the clear, helpful video explainers especially good.
