I sent my galaxy s3 phone to this company after seeing I could received £240... After not hearing anything for almost a week I read the reviews (wish I had read them before as I would've sent it to either fonebank or mazuma!!) I received an email sayin due to significant scratches will only receive £180!! This seems to be a common accurance although the phone was almost brand new!! Anyway I just accepted their offer as thought I'm going to get no where is if I argue the price... I was told payment would get sent as soon as I accepted... 3 days later no money.. I emailed they said latest date the money would be in was today!! Suprise suprise no money you ring the phone number absolutley useless as there is never a reply!!! Would never use this company again is defiantly some kind of scam!!! I have already emailed trading standards with all details as I expect many other people have!!!

They have my phone and won't send me my money because it's value is under £10 and I have to send them more phones to make up the shortfall within 6 months. :((((

I was quoted £140 for my Samsung galaxy s2. Now I had sent away my phone with special delivery which cost £5 plus bubble wrap so that the phone couldn't be damaged. I sent this away as soon as the bag came which was 4 days later. I then received an email 10 days after posting my phone saying that the haven't recived my phone yet and that my quote had now went down. Then the next day they all of a sudden recived my phone and then said it didn't pass their test and offered my £80 now my phone was in great condition and if I wanted my phone back it was going to cost £10! Now I have lost over £60 now!! I'm so annoyed I've used many phone selling websites but I will never ever use this one, rip off isn't the word! Really wishes I read the reviews before I sent my phone away!!

I sent my Samsung Galaxy S3 and Iphone 4s to Bozowi; both were in excellent condition and in original cases since the very start. Absolutely pristine, they initially offered me £250 for my Galaxy s3 and upon inspection reduced the price to £185!!! There has always been a case on the handset itself, so I can guarantee there weren’t any noticeable scratches that would warrant a reduction of £65!!! There exact words; "The back case has scratches on it; therefore we will offer a reduced price of £185? What a complete joke. You can purchase a back cover off EBay for £5? I refused and told them to send it back. My Iphone 4s was also pristine and in excellent condition, due to the type of material it has, it's near impossible to keep the phone scratch free!! They initially offered me £231 for it. Upon inspection reduced the price to £178!! I wasn't very happy at all, as this does not warrant such a reduction on both handsets? I spoke to their customer service dept, which of course took 3 days for someone to actually pick up the phone and talk to me, this is absolutely unacceptable. She explained that the Iphone 4s has numerous scratches on it, she started counting them on the phone itself, literally 3 scratches; please explain how this warrants a reduction of almost £50?? Absolutely appalling!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! To make matters worse, I had to pay £20 for them to return both units. Can someone please explain how special delivery via Royal mail costs £10 per phone?? Initially cost me £6 each to send. All i can say is this company wasted my time and as a result I am set to lose out on more money prices are always decreasing with recycling companies. Absolutely disgusting!! EVERYONE PLEASE AVOID!!!

I sent my iPhone 4S to Bozowi in mint condition with no cosmetic damage what so ever! I know this as it always had a case and a screen protector. I sent it in it's original box and original cables and manuals. I then received an email stating that they reduced the value by over £50 because of scratches! But I accepted as I wanted a quick and painless solution. They have stated on here that they keep photos of all the products and would be interesting to see what scratches were worth £50. And also the trend on this thread is that this is a standard procedure for them to reduce values but as your phone is with them you are sort of pushed into making a 'quick decision'. I will not be using this company again as they are clearly not offering the best price on the market for recycling.

First time i have used this company and i had a feeling it wouldn't go well. They claim to have never received the phone. A phone i know i posted almost a month ago. I'm sorry but i just don't believe them, i think they are a badly run company. I don't want to go as far as saying they actually received the phone but are telling me they didn't...I think we can all make our own minds up on that. Save yourself bother and AVOID!

Sent my phone off to them. Glad I didn't pay postage. It was downgraded due to scratches by £20. Have used other companies before and this one is the only one where they promise one amount but seem to reduce your payment when they see a scratch on a used phone.... What did they expect.? I accepted the payments as could not be bothered to do anything else, which I guess their modus operandi. I just wish I had read their reviews first and stuck with topdollarmobile!

I sent my Samsung Galaxy S3 to Bozowi on the recommendation of my local Car Phone Warehouse who had offered me £208.00 for it but said I would get more using Bozowi. Bozowi offered £250.10 for a phone in working condition so signed up to sell them my phone. Shipped it to them on 4th April special delivery in original box with 2 spare back covers all bubble wrapped in jiffy bag - Cost £6.85 special delivery 5th April - receive email stating phone has failed testing criteria and is now only worth £116.00 sighting that the casing was cracked and rear cover badly scratched. Rejected offer, called to get phone back, said I disputed the claims of damage so they offered to put a dispute on the order and tell me I'd get a call from the manager on the following Monday. No call so chase, get told takes 24 hours to respond, tell them it's been that long and get told that dispute will be reviewed with a manager and I'd get a call back - No call. Chase again on Tuesday get told this time it takes 48 hours to resolve disputes - tell them they said it was a 24hr response the day before and that it was now 48 hours since dispute raised - they tell me they will call back and this time they do to say they downgraded my phone in error and were prepared to increase the offer to £175.00 said the scratches on the rear were not as bad as first though and also said that there was a crack in the casing where the charger plugs in, couldn't dispute this as I had no idea if there was a crack in it or not. Reject revised iffer anyway knowing I can get more at CPW so give card details for return postage which they say they will charge me same as it cost to send it to them after I tell them what it cost to use special delivery. Get told phone will be shipped Thursday and with me Friday. Call on Wednesday as wanted to ask for tracking number when they send phone back - cannot get through, phone just rings for ages then turns into an engaged tone - figure they are busy so try again and again and again at different times of the day same thing each time. Guess they can see my number on their phones and choose not to pick up anyway I gave up in the end. Call back on Thursday and get through, I request the tracking number as I need it because a neighbour was going to take delivery as I was going to be out out all day Friday. They tell me phone has been dispatched and give me a tracking number - check tracking number - it's the one that was on the phone when I sent it to them. Call back, get through, ask for manager (whom I've spoken to a few times) explain why, get told she is on a call and will call me back - no call. Friday, call again, got through and question if they have even sent phone back, they tell me they have - fair enough, ask for tracking number get given same one as before, tell them it's the wrong one, they tell me they can't help and will get manager to call me - no call - chase again, speak to manager who tells me she will have the tracking number at 4pm that day as that is when the dispatch department give her the tracking numbers for all sent items and will call me back - no call. Get home - no phone. Saturday - while out postman leaves a missed delivery form - yesterday I collect phone from post office. Upon inspection can find absolutely no cracks near or around the charging port or on any other part of the casing and the rear cover while slightly scuffed (which I already knew) has nothing like the damage they told me it had. Took phone back to CPW they check phone, give it all clear for condition cosmetically and working wise and gave me £195.80 for it. So, in short I have lost £14.00 in wasted postage fees and another £12.20 between what I was originally offered by CPW and what it lost in the 2 wasted weeks I spent faffing about sending it to Bozowi. A total waste of my time and money. My phone was in a very very good condition, I accept the rear cover had some scuffs but I sent 2 new unused covers with it. The casing was not cracked anywhere, I even told CPW that Bozowi had found cracks in the casing, they also checked it and found no evidence of any cracks. I just think they didn't really want my phone so made the reduced offers and made up problems in the hope I'd accept their reduced offer and never be able to to argue if the damage they reported was on the phone or not. I would say that they probably will buy your phone but be prepared for them to reduce the initial offer for the slightest of reasons. The customer service was poor at best, failing to return calls when they said they would, not picking up the phone etc. The people you speak to are polite and give the impression they are being helpful but in reality they aren't really helping at all. If you still want to use them I would just say be ready for less than they offer you on line and a fair bit of hassle to get your phone back if you choose to reject their offer. A bitter experience for me, one I will not be repeating. If I had been this bad in my job I would not have my job anymore. Just for the record, Bozowi responded to my review and offered to review my experience and contact me to discuss further. Guess What?? Yep, you guessed correctly, I never heard from them again.

Everything started off well. I got my free post bag, sent away my phone, was received, I got my confirmation emails and then I was told I would be paid within 3 days (the Friday). Friday came and went without payment, nothing over the weekend, or Monday. I emailed on both Friday and Monday but heard noting which infuriated me. I then left a review explaining the situation here which they responded to after I started threatening to speak with the police and Consumer Direct (at this point I believed they had stolen my phones). Tuesday they emailed me back, and after a few emails back and forth, as got a phone call from a very pleasant lady, who assured me that it was a mistake and that payment would be received by 9pm on that night (Tuesday). In addition to that she also offered to send me a free gift (iPad case) nice touch and reassured me that they are a real company, and I was happy with that, and I appreciated the call. 9pm came, no payment. I sent quite an aggressive email that evening, and was ready to speak with the police on Wednesday morning, and had I not have been driving to work when they called me, I would have done. More apologies, another mistake, it doesn't look good on them they know that but payment is being sent now and I will receive it by around 10am but it can take up to 4 hours. When I checked at 12.15 I have finally been paid. I would have used this company again despite the issues until payment wasn't send the second time, but after that I will never use them again. It's not acceptable in my opinion to leave people hanging for payment they need and are entitled to. And while I understand errors get made, twice isn't ok. I will accept a lower offer if I ever sell a phone again from another company. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I sent 2 phones, one was broken and they gave me a quote of £5 for a broken phone , then downgraded it to 75p! The second phone they quoted me £55 and ended up giving me £14, claiming a button was not working properly! Not impressed! I am still waiting for my money!!

I used Bozowi as they were offering the best price for a brand new phone, which was an unwanted upgrade. The box had never been opened and was sent to Bozowi as I got it from the manufacturer. I then got an email that my price has been downgraded from new to working which is a loss of £40. I'm at a loss as to how it can be classed as anything other than new when it was never even opened!!! I did send 2 emails and a Facebook message which were replied to in a timely manner, so I can't fault them in that respect. But I'm waiting on an explanation regarding the downgrading as I would have been better doing a private sale. I've used 3 other competitors in the past and I've never had a price downgrade. So I'm a little upset as I needed the extra cash hence going with them and paying for SD to get it processed next day which in fairness was yesterday but was processed today, and now payment will be held up as they don't process at the weekends and charge extra for faster payment. So in essence I should have expected a price reduction due to the previous reviews but I did want to give them the benefit of the doubt and I've posted an honest review. If I get a response then I will update this review.

I sent my Samsung Galaxy S2 to Bozowi last week. In my opinion, the handset was in good working order with slight cosmetic damage. The initial offer price was downgraded due to scratches. I declined that offer price. As I was expecting not to require it returned, I was not happy having to pay to return it. With no option on the site to discuss this and the email only had a an accept/reject option, so I emailed Bozowi and posted on TrustPilot that the phone was in my opinion unfairly downgraded. One of the Bozowi team started a dialogue online which would probably have resolved everything to everyone’s satisfaction, but within an hour of this happening, my phone was placed in dispute until the matter was resolved. At this point there was an email exchange where we did not agree with what "in dispute" meant. I have since had an in depth discussion with a member of staff at Bozowi and we have agreed a compromise that I feel puts this matter to rest. I have given 3 stars as under Trust Pilot's definition of "Acceptable experience but with some friction". I was annoyed at first but they have now resolved the issue to my satisfaction.

sent 2 x Blackberry phones to this company on the 28th march same day their envelope arrived and kept posting receipt. after one month they confirm they received the cheaper phone which they've downgraded for late arrival to £0 and they say they did not get my more expensive phone what a surprise! If Royal mail staff took it, why did'nt they just keep both and why would I go to all that trouble and just keep an old phone when i have my new phone? Take note of their warning on all their emails that "abusive language will not be tolerated" now why would you say that if you were going to look after your customers?I have blocked my 2 stolen phones now but understand they send these to India where they can be used. If they think they are going to get rich this way they have no grasp of the business world where companies spend thousands on advertising, but these cheapskates for the the sake of a few quid are getting so much bad press that soon they will change trading name. Just inform as many people as you can and on as many forums. I am sending the proof to my solicitor and Trading standards. Its not the money i've lost, but i can not tolerate being taken advantage of . All those ripped off should stick together against this cheap bullying company! Also bear in mind most of the positive comments could be this company setting up bogus accounts.
