We cannot fault the Porch and windows they were very well made, but the communication was appalling, we had to chase up all the time and even when we were told of the installation date we had to phone to ensure they were coming, we told one date by the surveyor and 3 months later we were still chasing to be told it always takes 10/12 weeks from surveyors visit, just wish they had been up front with this.

I needed to have 2 windows replaced as the seal had gone. The original appointment was with a manager who explained everything to me and the cost of the repairs. The second visit was by the surveyor who measured the windows and looked at the seal around the whole frame, he came back a few days later and carried out the work. All was done with a minimum of fuss and a professional manner.

Smith Glass have always been reliable and trustworthy. The workers do a great job and always clean up when finished, I would always recommend them .

Work itself was fantastic. No complaints at all. After booking in the job with the rep, we scheduled a standby job for August. I understand these standby jobs are reliant on a spot becoming available; but after 2 months of 8 calls to chase it, I was repeatedly dismissed with they’ll call in the next 2 days, which they never did. Eventually someone finally called and scheduled the job for the following week. Big improvements could be made on the booking side of things and especially the following up of calls from customers, to at least return calls when a message has been left multiple times.

My front door was installed in early 2020. There were a few remedial jobs that needed to be done a few weeks later, which was done in a timely manner. I am extremely pleased with the end product and would recommend Smiths for doors etc. There was an issue that occurred a year later and they came out to rectify it in a very satisfactory manner. All under warranty. So I am pleased. The installers and additional work staff were excellent. Well mannered, friendly and got on and done the work in a timely fashion. Thank you Smiths.

I would not recommend Smiths I had a conservatory erected in 2014 the fitters were not very good at all in fact useless. My paperwork states that the guarantee is for ten years, my roof panels have condensation in them when I contacted Smiths I was told they are only guaranteed for five years when I stated that a five year guarantee is not mentioned on the terms and conditions I was told that no Window Company would offer a ten year guarantee BUT MY GUARANTEE STATES 10 YEARS. I went to Smiths premises in Wickford I met a member of there team I was kept outside the office and was told sorry it’s only a 5 year guarantee, I showed them my paperwork which states 10 years. Would I recommend Smiths NO WAY KEEP WELL AWAY.

They came and fitted a door for me and my grandad. My grandad was over the moon and from the moment he saw it on the book he loved it.we were very happy with it after instalment and would definitely recommend smiths.

I had grant and Dan do my windows and doors had no problems with them their work was outstanding cleaned up after them left no mess.also had Mike and Craig do my gutting with out any problems would recommend them all to my family and friends

I was very impressed with my experience of Smiths so much so that I have booked for more work to be done. All of the office staff such as Ryan, Dean and Macauley were very helpful and understanding of my situation recently loosing my wife and having to postpone the works for a little while. The installer Scott was also a superstar, he worked tirelessly to get the works completed in good time and the finish is to a very high standard, my neighbour will also be contacting Smiths for works as she has said she is very impressed. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!
