United States | 13 November 2019If only I had done 2 minutes of research, I could have saved hundreds of dollars and major headaches! How does this company stay in business? Clearly, AJ Madison President, Isaac Gross and Vice President, Michael Gross do not care about customer service. Meanwhile, my experience is mirrored by all the negative reviews on this site, the BBB and anywhere else you see the AJ Madison name online. I ordered a refrigerator 10/7, it was finally delivered 11/8. This is a partial list of issues I had to deal with over a month-of-hell: Overcharged by salesperson Victor Sned for shipping and panel install / Non-delivery by date promised (10/21) / Office Closure 10/21 and 10/22 for holiday with no outgoing message stating such / Unanswered calls, voicemails, emails over several weeks in trying to track down appliance / Company blatantly stated it does not place any kind of courtesy phone calls to customers in need / Service Manager, Megan Messing, exchanged a week of emails with me that could have been solved by a 2 minute phone conversation / Not one single apology, from anyone, at any point, over the whole month of dealing with AJ Madison. United States | 05 November 2019I contacted customer service because I felt $30.25 was too much to charge for shipping an item weighing less than 2 lbs to the lower 48 states. The customer service person offered me $10 as a shipping charge. I made sure that she knew that this was for an open box item. She said it would apply for that as well as she would get me to the correct sales person to take the order. The sales person said they would only do the lower shipping on a new item, and I would need to pay the $30.25 as I was getting a good discount already. Result for them (over $20.25) is lost sale, and damage to company's reputation. I have never heard of a company not backing an offer made by their own customer service department before. I felt very embarrassed for the young lady that gave me the offer, and I hope she finds a new job at a company that stands behind it's commitments.

United States | 22 July 2019I purchased a Samsung appliance package from AJ Madison, only to receive the stainless refrigerator with a huge dent in it. I spend a total of 7 weeks trying to get it resolved. Every time I tried calling, I would spend at least 40 minutes on hold. When they finally opened a ticket with Samsung to repair the door, I had to PAY for the repair because AJ Madison was unreachable for the payment. I called Samsung directly, and all I got was that it was the retailer's responsibility. I will never buy from them again.

United States | 13 June 2019I ordered a washer 10 weeks ago, one came in and it was damaged, another came in- same story. The third unit has never showed up. We are a family of 5 without a washer. I was offered a 3 year warranty and that was it- and also, still no washer. Ridiculous.

United States | 08 February 2017I didn't order from this company, but the item was to be shipped to my place of business. The item was damaged. It took over 2 months to return the item and have the correct item delivered, which was a week later than estimated to be delivered. Customer service was horrible, ball was dropped multiple times. No regard for the customer.
