Ordered some architrave cost £50, delivery £60 - had no choice as this was the design of the architrave we wanted. Goods arrived in a cardboard tube so expected them to be in perfect condition. Opened them 5 days later to start project only to find that one end was scratched and filthy and the 2 longest stretches were bowed which is going to cause a problem when fitting as it will be in tension. The response was that I should have opened them within 24 hours to check and they won't do anything else about it. Whilst I understand the policy my expectation from the cost and how they were packaged that there would be nothing wrong with them at all. I feel the response was not helpful given expectations of service and product. So basically my advice is use another company with better products and service.

I had an excellent experience with Emma from The Victorian Emporium, from the start when I enquire regarding her selection of tiles to the end. As specified below by Mr. Piccirillio, there was a mistake in the delivery however this was dealt with very rapidly by Emma and she apologised for this error. She has not only replaced the tiles but gave away 50 more than was initially ordered as well as replaced the ones that weren’t returned.

I am currently restoring a period property in a mews in Kensington for a very discerning client. Several of the items I have ordered from The Victorian Emporium have been of outstanding quality, and of a quality and craftsmanship far exceeding similar items online. However, The Victorian Emporium excelled themselves recently when I needed some bespoke door stays made to match some existing ones. Emma sorted the entire process, provided me with scale drawings via the manufacturer and dealt with it all. The door stays were delivered yesterday (as predicted by Emma when I confirmed the order initially several weeks ago) and they are of outstanding quality. Several blacksmiths weren't interested, or simply couldn't make, what I required, but thankfully Emma came to the rescue and I once again have a very happy customer! I can't recommend The Victorian Emporium highly enough.

Emma (I believe the founder/owner?) helped me select a replacement light shade for an external Victorian bracket. We had two phone calls and an exchange of emails and she checked with with a couple of manufacturers/suppliers to identify the right shade and ensure it would work. Very helpful. Unfortunately the manufacturer sent the wrong size the first time, but this was rectified, and the courier failed to pick up the old one - also being rectified. Save for those issues, I would have given five stars. Would recommend this company.

I was looking for tiles to fit in cast iron fire surround & came upon this site. Found some cast iron inserts which i thought would be a good idea instead of tiles. Ordered & arrived quickly well packed & protected look nice fit well, good experience pleased I found them.

We are renovating a victorian house and needed skirting, architraves and picture rails to match the style with a tight time schedule. We are talking a very big order. Victorian Emporium were so helpful on getting the order just right and even worked the architraves so we actually had to order less and got a refund! Highly recommend giving them a call. Lovely to deal with! Ordered stair runner after getting in touch to confirm stock and delivery times and was provided accurate information. Runner was of impeccable quality, lovely Belgian carpet with super underfoot feel. Needed an additional piece which was also supplied quickly allowing the project to be completed on time. Would recommend and will be looking to buy decorative mouldings in the future.

The tiles from The Victorian Emporium are absolutely gorgeous and look wonderful in an Edwardian or Victorian setting. We were helped throughout our porch project by Emma who patiently explained everything and managed to get replacement tiles delivered quickly after a tiling disaster. The birdbath I ordered is lovely design and high quality. I had very efficient and friendly help from Emma to correct a mistake I made on my order. The wait times are more than a month, but Emma was also very understanding and managed to adapt delivery time to my special circumstances. We used this company to undertake a victorian panelling project for our bathroom in lockdown. Ordering online is always a risk, however, after calling the company and leaving a message Emma promptly called me back. She advised me and reassured me as to what we would need and offered invaluable advise. Order came promptly even in full lockdown. Our bathroom looks amazing. Fantastic service, we just ordered some more products and received the same friendly helpful manor. Good old fashioned friendly service that you really do not get often these day.
