Quality bulbs and quick delivery

Service was fast. Appreciated that. Bulbs are large and healthy looking. I am anxious to see just what color of Woodstock turns out to be. I was shopping for myself but also to give to an elderly friend that I had taken to the PHILADELPHIA FLOWER SHOW. THE WOODSTOCK shown there were a deep MERLOT wine color that I had never seen before.

Easy to order and I like that there were some really unique bulbs.

Bulbs are huge and very healthy.

Most everything was find but I would have liked an email as it got closer to shipping time to explain when the bulbs would be sent...even a rough estimate. I did get an email once they were shipped. By that point I was starting to get concerned.

Ordered callas and other bulbs earlier this year but had to delay planting them due to an accident -but they bloomed beautifully anyhow! I now have two giant amaryllis bulbs to plant for the holidays. Thanks, Dutch Grown!

Excellent size and health. Edit: The two H. Chico bulbs I was interested in were reported to be sold out. A day or two later I got an email saying they found more but they apparently just grabbed a few H. La Paz and sold them to me as the more desirable H. Chico. Their web clearly distinguishes the two and has the images named correctly, so I can only assume this was done with intent to defraud, assuming I wouldn't notice the difference when they bloomed.

Shipping was good, no complaints. When I went to plant my bulbs I was so suprised to see upon opening each pack that the bulbs were both small and at least 2 out of the 10 were shriveled, dry and dead. Ive never experienced anything like it. I was so upset I told my husband to just throw them out. I tried calling but was unable to get through. My husband took 1 photo before throwing out what I was looking through, had I thought about it I would have taken pics of everything. The pink parrots, there were 3 out of the 10 not shriveled and dead. Im just now calm enough to say something, bulbs aren't cheap and I expected better from this company.

I come back to DutchGrown year after year because they offer the best amaryllis bulbs on the market. Huge bulbs that produce multiple stems of flowers.

My aunt received her amaryllis bulb when expected, and although it looked a little pitiful upon arrival from sitting in the PO a while, shot up a foot in a week. Well done!

I was happy to find the type of bulbs and the price was fair. I had to buy a large quantity of bulbs because smaller quantities were sold out. This was odd since the bulbs I receive were packaged in groups of ten. Many bulbs were split and some shriveled and dark. But the final assessment will be the success of spring bloom.

I always keep 10 to 15 amaryllis in my multi-year collection and trying to add 2 or 3 new ones each year. Three years ago I can across DutchGrown online and will never shop or buy elsewhere. The quality and size of the bulbs rarely comes close online or at retail. Bulbs even often have bulblets and i have large bulbs already producing nice side bulbs from past couple of years. Price cannot be beat. After receiving my newest additions last week I happed to be at one of my favorite nurseries just yesterday and they did have comparable bulbs. But were near double what I paid for my purchases from DutchGrown. This only solidified what I already knew and i plan to begin to expand my yearly purchases and soon will be checking out the spring and summer bulb options as well. If the quality is close to what i have received so far, I can hardly wait!
