This is a corrected rating of my recent review of Medway Law. They were wonderful and in error I gave them a rating of 1 instead of 5. I would recommend them highly based on the service I received

Poor overall case management of my sale including poor communication and general client care - would not use this firm again !

A very helpful team who kept me informed throughout the process of selling my late father's property. Only minor irritations during the process which made for a relatively stress-free experience. Thanks everyone.

Danielle Woods was so rude throughout the transaction. No salutation or even addressing me by name just one line sentences making demands and generally really poor communication. When finally made phone contact she was rude abrupt and when I confronted her she said " Would you look at ya self " and slammed down the phone. Strange to have someone like this handling clients. Not sure if she is simply overworked or just has a horrible attitude. Took my business elsewhere of course.

It took way longer than it needed to (6 months). Improper communication. Emails not answered or when answered, the question was not understood. Initial completion scheduled for 18th of December, but the conveyancer didn't pickup the phone on the 17th or 18th. Completion actually happened on 26th of January with no reason provided for the delay. It took too long to make them understand how a LISA withdrawal works. 4 emails and multiple telephone discussions. The day before completion I was asked for proof of funds for a transaction that happened 5 months prior. The conveyancer knew about the transaction for months, but left it to the absolute last moment to ask for proof. Luckily my broker could generate transaction history in half an hour so I was able to provide proof of funds and completion happened on time, but there was no reason to leave this query so late.

Amazing, human, professional, attentive, caring, compassionate, reliable , personalised approach. Speedy and efficient. Great communication via telephone, text and e-mail. Informative and worked with me in a partnership in the sale. I have never heard of a secure sale system. The sale was completed 43 days after the day it was first view and buyers moved in.

Medway Law achieved completion of my house sale with some hiccups along the way. The worst was not contacting my brother or myself when a necessary identity check had not been completed until almost too late for exchange of contracts. An email requesting the check had arrived in my brothers junk mail folder and the deadline for exchange of contracts was rapidly approaching. When I received an email saying the check had not been completed we managed to acquire the required information and my brother was able to complete the identity check online. However the solicitor at Medway Law dealing with the exchange of contracts worked till beyond 19:00 on the evening of the 17th of December 2024 so the exchange of contracts could take place. The buyers solicitor was due to be on holiday on the 18th of December 2024 till the 2nd of January 2025 so exchange of contracts would have been delayed beyond the contractually required date.

I was a little sceptical at first about selling a property using the modern auction method but to be honest I needn’t have worried. Medway Law have been amazing from start to finish the communication is outstanding any questions or queries have been dealt with straightaway I would highly recommend them thank you so much for making the process run smoothly as possible.
