They are now not replying to emails, Facebook messages or answering the phone. We have no idea what's happening with the boots and are getting seriously concerned about getting our money back if we can't get hold of anyone

Poland | 12 June 2020Ordered a gilet on the 1st of June, on the 9th and 10th sent 2 emails asking for order status as no dispatch confirmation was ever provided, never received a reply; called- was advised on delay and that they will message me back (never received a reply). Cancelling my order today. Save yourself some nerves and order from another retailer!

After waiting weeks for my order to come it was the wrong item, and trying to sort it out in store wasn’t an easy job. The two departments need to speak to each other rather than blaming each other.

United Kingdom | 12 May 2020Placed an order on 9th April 2020 for a substantial value. I received an order conformation email but no dispatch notice. I emailed two weeks later, no reply. I then called to be told that my order had been sent to the wrong address and they would redirect it immediately. Another week then went by with no further dispatch notice or communication, with me contacting them on multiple occasions. Still unsure of what is happening I called them, where they said that they hadn't received the items back yet but they would have the warehouse repack the items and sent out to me with a 24 hour courier. That was over one week ago, and when I called yesterday this still hasn't been done!! I don't understand what the hold up can be, and all I've had is people saying they will get back to be over the phone. So coming up to 5 weeks later, I still have no items! Save yourself the time and trouble and shop elsewhere!

United Kingdom | 18 February 2020Awful again. Would be 0 star review if I could. My daughter ordered 2 items on 29th January that we are still waiting for. Emailed customer service who did not reply then phoned customer service who blamed warehouse. Then received email saying they would look into it. Then nothing emailed again and received an email saying they would repick and send out. Phone call today saying they only have one of the 2 items ordered. Awful 3rd time similar incidents have happened to us. My advice to AVOID THIS RETAILER!

Customer services were very unhelpful and rude saying no point returning it as I had defaced it and they would not refund! My advice is stay away and use a reputable shop to buy from - I wish I had

I placed my order then read these some of these comments after, as you can imagine I was a little bit worried. However, I can honestly say I received email confirmation through each process to them being out for dispatch. Will be using again.

My second recent order was a bit delayed due to one item being out of stock, but someone from their customer service informed me via mail and they offered replacing the original item,which I agreed one and picked something else. After the replacement my order was shipped quickly and delivered in few days. I am very satisfied with their service and products and surely will be ordering more in the future. Thanks alot HVS 💕

I of course emailed to see why there had been a confusion and received a response along the lines of ‘the website had the wrong stock information so we have sent this one instead of none at all’ bare it in mind that I had received no information regarding this until I contacted them myself. I replied to the last email sent and 3 weeks later am yet to get a response. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and very poor customer service.

Perfect service, even more perfect prices and fab products... thanku all!

Should have looked on here first. Will NEVER buy from them again and will advise others not to!

United Kingdom | 15 November 2019We have bought boots from here and had to return them and have never had a problem Recently we bought a pair of boots that did not last very long before starting to come apart, customer services were really helpful, we took some pictures, shared with them and they sorted this out for us We have bought other products from here and have no problems at all. Customer service is excellent, quick responses - our isolated issue we have had would not stop us from using them again

United Kingdom | 16 October 2019The first couple of times I ordered from them I received no email about dispatch but items were delivered quickly, on the free delivery. Slightly worried me tho as the items were expensive. The third time I was called the next day to inform me that my item was actually out of stock and was offered a different item but just requested a refund which took about a week until I actually got confirmation that it was being processed. The fourth time I've ordered, I paid £4.99 for delivery, after a week and a half of not receiving or hearing anything about my delivery I decided to email customer service, as their website says to allow 3-5 working days for delivery. The next day I was finally emailed confirmation that my delivery had been shipped, shortly followed by a reply from customer service that their system said my order has been shipped (no s**t sherlock). Overall my experience with Hope Valley has been slightly stressful, although customer service does respond in somewhat of a timely manner and their prices are very good.

United Kingdom | 14 September 2019Ordered 4 items (totaling over £100) on the morning of the 4th of September and received order confirmation quickly, and shipping confirmation later that same morning of the 4th. I was contacted 8 DAYS later on the 12th of September to be told my order had in fact not been shipped at all, and that one of the rugs was out of stock and would I accept a swap for another rug (£10 less in value). Completely unapologetic and accept no responsibility, avoid for online orders 100%.

United Kingdom | 21 August 2019This business and their products are totally unreliable. I purchased a pair of supposedly new boots for £130 and another item. Regardless of my purchase of over £100 they still charged me £4.99 for delivery. When the boots arrived they were in a bad condition. I contacted the company and tried to explain to them that for this amount of money you would expect less faults. Their response was that leather boots scratch easily... My opinion is that if you go to a store which is cheap like P****rk then you expect to get cheap quality boots with scratches but not when you spend 130 on it. Overall experience was very negative and returned item as this company makes you pay for premium but they don't provide a good service and good quality items.
