There's basically no work on this platform, it's dead. I only use this platform because my company uses it to track our work time and productivity, and we get paid through it. But for some reason, golance cutd a whopping 8% of pur paychecks just for the nothing they provide, and by the way, the company already pays them for their services. On top of that, they keep changing things around and I had to contact support each tome to exteact payslips, just because they feel like changing things around. Horrible horrible service, I wouldn't even think lf using it if it wasn't our company forcing us to. If you're a freelancer trying tl find work, just use other reputable platforms, there is absolutely zero work on this website. The job I found was not through this platform.

i have on goLance as a freelancer since 2020, that is about 4 years today. goLance has been one of the best freelance marketplace that i know. the clients on goLance are legit. prompt payments and best escrew payments.

The increase in the fee and delay in the transaction.

It was great at first until they changed their payment processor which makes payouts to be credited on bank accounts longer! Their available jobs are not that much and some are even bogus ones but you may find a decent client after a thorough search.

Pros: quick payout during work days Cons: they removed conversion rate visibility on their website after the redesign, which basically increases my money loss even more, since they are way lower than what they are suppose to be.

Everything is more than perfect and they are very trustworthy

So I'm a client looking to hire freelancers. I posted a couple of hiring ads & 90% of these freelancers just ignore the hiring ad & then spam a generic cover letter ignoring my needs & questions. Unfortunately a good 75% of the online freelance space, but it seems worse on golance. During this time I got sick (still am sick in fact) & the next thing I know, I'm locked out of my account. I managed to somehow get their evil AI bot to get me a ticket opened & asked what was going on. golance pretty much accused me of whatever they accused me of, their exact words were "Your account was flagged due to suspicious activity. Our department of Risk & Compliance has banned you from our platform due to not verifying via Persona." No clue what Persona is, nor did they explain what it was. They didn't ask me ANY questions, didn't even want to hear my side of the story about anything & just closed the ticket. WOW They just cost freelancers potential work & me being able to hire freelancers. I guess there's soooo much work out there for freelancers these days (we know there's not), they don't care if they just cost them jobs. As a client, I don't recommend this unprofessional RUSH TO JUDGE company. Any company that doesn't actually TALK to their customers isn't a company anyone should want to deal with. That's the problem with some online companies, they are full of fear, they accuse human beings of things that aren't true, & they don't even have the intelligence & respect to talk things out. SMH

The company I was working for on this platform paid me on Tuesday, it is now Thursday and I am still not paid. I contacted their support yesterday and they said it was so-called “under review”, and sent me a bunch of links saying it could take up to 5 business days to be paid, which means I might have to wait until the middle of next week to get my money. This is completely unacceptable! I am completely unsatisfied with this platform, and even though I know they are using a third-party processor, this processor should not have the right to make people wait so long to get paid. The decision to use this processor ultimately leads back to GoLance, so they are directly responsible for this situation. I would not recommend this platform in any way.

Easy, honest and they go out of their way to represent the client

goLance is simply the best freelance platform out there. I’ve used a number of different platforms over the years, and nothing compares to the ease of use, quality of clients, and customer support. I also should notice that goLance grows really fast. GoWallet recently had an amazing UI update and brought some cool new features like virtual cards and list of transactions. It gives transparency, so I can easily see my transactions history and manage my balance.

I personally recommend to deal with golance. It's the best freelance platform out there. What surprised me the most was the customer support team. Thanks for your help. And most importantly the payment system is very reliable.
