Bought it for myself and used it for the test. Was impressed with the accuracy as used it when I had no alcohol and when I did have with quantities. Would highly recommend to keep one.

Well worth the money. It gives you a good indication of whether or not you are fit to drive or not. Youd be amazed just how long it takes the alcohol to get out of your system. Easy to use. Only issue is that it only comes with a couple of the disposable straws. Other than that cant complain.

It does exactly what it says on the tin. And although very careful myself with what I have inside me the morning after. The device confirms this.

Having had a conversation with Karl in Customer Support, I decided to buy an Alcosense Excel to ensure a better level of accuracy and more frequent testing than the Special Edition 2. Not disappointed! I tried it out by drinking 5 pints of strong lager over about 3 hours and as advised, left it 90 mins after the last drink to take a reading. Definitely over the drink drive limit! I then retested every 30 mins and watched the level drop to a "safe" level over the next 4 hours. It's great to have confirmation whether I should drive or not. N.B. This was only done as an experiment to test both me and the Excel and didn't involve any actual driving! Many thanks to Karl for his help and advice.

Review by Landlord. Alcosense Breathalyser Special Edition 2 (RRP £59.99). Handy little gadget but really can only be used for the’Morning after’ test as the 90 mins alcohol wait time precludes it from being used in a pub, although it could be used if you had a few drinks at the start of a party and was leaving in the car later. Quite a big margin for error according to the guide so this has to be factored in which should give a reading that will be under the prescribed limit if you were to get stopped on your way to work.

I bought the alcosense special edition 2 breathalyser for peace of mind. Have tried it without the blowpipes and appears to work reasonably well. Good for peace of mind.

I bought the special edition 2 for use in my motor home for the morning before driving on to my next stop, but i have not a chance to use it but i have every faith in it and should make me feel safer on the road

Amazing product

I purchased an alcosense2 from lidl at a very reasonable price and feel that this little compact machine is very useful for that day after fear after taking a few drinks. I can now feel more confident when driving my car the following day or after a glass of wine with a meal.

Bought this from Lidl the other day and used it the evening, easy to use and set up. Seems to be accurate and is going to give me peace of mind especially as I have new drivers in the household. Would highly recommend at this price!
