Good bit of kit to have I just upgraded from the Elite2 to the 3. Previous one I’d had quite a while could have got it recalibrated but took an offer for trade in replacement. I’ve used the devise a few times generally handy when an unexpected phone call has meant I’m needed somewhere. Worth checking alcohol just in case.

So after about 4 days I was all set to return this, the readings were all over the place. I was blowing around 30 all day after drinking the night before and started to question my bodies ability to process alcohol! An hour after consuming exactly 1 unit I was blowing well over the limit. And then it dawned on me... I lock all of my spirits in a secure steel safe (to keep my teenagers grubby mitts out) I had been keeping the alcosesne in there, along with a 50ml measuring cup that I use to pour my drinks. The safe would reek of vodka due to this. Residual alcohol was building up in the breathalyser and throwing the readings way off. I moved it to a different location and it's spot on. If I drink two units, I blow 20, wait 1 hour, I'm down to 10, wait 2 hours and I'm almost back to zero. Same results if I drink 4 units, blow 40, takes 4 hours to get back to zero.

Alcosense lite 2 gives a good accurate reading. I use mine to prove abstince from alcohol for my job so zero alcohol gives me a 0.00 % reading rather than just low. I'd definitely recommend this device to anyone. Could quality and fairly price with easy to understand directions. Sandra W

I bought 3 of these for our children, my only complaint is they all read different readings, so makes me a bit dubious of how accurate they are

I golf twice a week and am always very careful the night before but still have lingering doubts about my alcohol levels the next morning. I bought an Alcosense Elite 3 after reading very positive online reviews. This unit is very easy to use and is extrmely accurate. I also spoke to one of the companies staff to make sure I was using the unit correctly and must compliment him for his knowledge and help. Great onscreen instructions and reminders etc. Anyone reading this please treat yourself to this breathalyzer and give yourself great piece of mind the next morning

I am very pleased with the purchase. A product worth the price. I really like the option of showing the time to sober up. The results are 100% repeatable. And 150 mouthpieces for the ultra version are a big freebie and a nice surprise. And an option to remind you about annual calibration. I really recommend this breathalyzer.

I spend a lot of time on the road in my motorhome, and the Alcosense Pro gives a great deal of peace of mind when setting off in the morning after enjoying French wine the night before. Very easy to use, it guides me through the testing process meaning an accurate test every time. 5 stars from me.

Bought this as we have 2 teenage drivers and we are trying to teach them about the dangers of being over the limit the next day. This is a quick and easy device which gives us peace of mind they are not over the limit when driving. Highly recommended to anyone who drives and also drinks alcohol.
