Absolutely hopeless. Booked an appointment via the phone line 01622477017 for today. Was told I would hear from the engineer yesterday evening what time today he would come. I heard nothing. Rang at 9:30 this morning was told the engineer would ring by 10. Nothing. Rang again was told would hear by 11. Nothing. Tried ringing customer service number 02036000933 3 times. No answer. Rang 01622477017 again told me to ring customer services. Now the customer service number defaults back to the booking line and they can’t help. I just want my fridge freezer fixed before all my food goes off.

Nicu the engineer kept me informed was on time, was courteous and fixed the issue for us.

Fixed the problem, came when he said he would, pleasant engineer. However, so expensive. Only needed the dispenser drawer replacing, and that ended up well over £200 and almost as much as a new machine. Not sure if that is the company's fault, or that Hotpoint charge well into three figures for a bit of plastic which costs 30p to manufacture.

Prior to his visit, the engineer kept in contact by text and arrived at the time requested. My washing machine wasn't draining and he found the cause of the blockage within 30 minutes. Have been using the machine since, with no problems.

Ben arrived on time. He was helpful and very knowledgable about the problem immediately identifying what was wrong with it. Ben showed respect and was polite with his communication.

Excellent service. Great communication, and fast response. The engineer who came and fixed my washing machine was an expert in his field. He fixed the issue in less than 20 minutes efficiently.

Easy to book. Got the day i requested. Tradesman called and gave me a timeslot with a good amount of notice and he arrived on time. Located and fixed the problem within 20 minutes.

Was allocated an engineer but no appointment date and has to call to arrange this.However very satisfied with the work done and oven repaired without having to replace.

My advice is stay away from this company! We booked a call out as our washing wasn't spinning and the timer was out of whack. An engineer came and told my husband that we were loading the machine incorrectly and there was no fault with the machine, charged him £83 (it should have been £82.80) and left. You tend to believe the 'expert's' don't you? We loaded the machine (correctly) only to find the faults were still there. The 'work' is supposed to be guaranteed for 6 months so we called them back to say it was still faulty. They are now trying to charge us for the parts (circuit boards) which they are responsible for as per their guarantee. After speaking with and emailing them regarding this, the guy on the phone swore at my husband, told him to 'do his worst' and we are now seeking legal advise on where we stand. They made a mistake with their initial diagnosis and therefore should take the hit and learn from it, not make the customer pay for their mistakes. After reading the company reply to this review, we have sought legal advise and you are not fulfilling your contract. The engineer did not inspect the machine, he watched it. This is not an inspection, if it had been carried out properly the board fault would have been picked up. As I said stay away.

Wrong diagnosis by their engineer and they keep harassing me to pay them £70. I don't get it. Thanks for your response. Your engineer Timotope also stated the motor is faulty which is not the case therefore I will not pay as per my 12 x emails before.
