United Kingdom | 18 February 2025Would never recommend Green & Co Castle Bromwich 1. Most of the staff very unfriendly and just couldn't be bothered to help. 2. We had to encourage them to chase up any viewings for feedback. 3. Once we accepted an offer, they said they would cancel all further viewings, unfortunately they didn't do this which resulted in viewer knocking on the door to view the house and embarrassingly had to turn them away. 4. They failed to tell us the solicitor they recommended doesn't work with the mortgage lender even though we had mortgage advice through them. 5. 11 weeks in the sale process and not a single piece of communication from them. 6. Our chain breaks and we were informed from the estate agents who we were buying off, rather than Green & Co. 7. 3 days before completion we were still none the wiser as to what was going on unless we were chasing them for updates. The only extremely quick communication we had from them was a phone call asking for the bill to be paid once completed. They want a lot of money for doing very little.

United Kingdom | 03 January 2025Absolutely irresponsible agents who left the heating on, in my empty property when viewings were taking place. I obviously accumulated a overcharge in my bill. They have not taken any accountability and have left me out of pocket. Be careful when using Green in Great Barr. Unreliable, untrustworthy and irresponsible.

From the moment I contacted them, Nicola's and Paul’s professionalism and politeness stood out. After viewing a property through Green and Company, I decided to put in an offer. Throughout the process, Nicola was incredibly proactive, regularly keeping me informed and providing unwavering support for my interest in the property. Despite the offer not being accepted by the property owner, Nicola continued to go above and beyond to ensure I was kept updated every step of the way. Her genuine concern and apologies for the outcome demonstrated a level of customer care rarely seen in the industry. It's important to note that the outcome was not due to any fault on my part or the estate agency's. I commend Green and Company for their professionalism and dedication to their clients, particularly Nicola, who truly went the extra mile. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in search of an estate agent who prioritises customer satisfaction above all else.

United Kingdom | 22 December 2023After my father viewing a property from the Tamworth estate agents . Was informed go place a holding deposit on the property. He is a pensioner and was seriously worried about meeting all the requirements for expenses , even though he had savings to cover several years rent. So decided to withdraw his attention to the property to go for something more easier to meet affordability process. Was only then told that due to his withdrawal, would not get his holding deposit back. No mention of this consequence on paying deposit. All you get told is, it's in the terms an conditions. Well excuse me but if all t&C's were read b4 applying for anything, the country would probably grind to a halt. Some conditions like this which obviously will be more likely should be made perfectly clear b4 holding deposit accepted. But then again it's obvious it's a way of the greens company making easy money DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE GREENS JOHN DREW

United Kingdom | 20 August 2023Very poor experience with Green and Company Walmley Letting. Firstly, they failed to register my details after completing the registration process on 12/08/23 . So I had to send them the detail again. It took ages for them to return my calls on 14/08/23 when trying to get a viewing. I had to get several other Green and Co offices to ring the Walmley Letting dept to get them to reply to their own customers! It was completely ridiculous. After finally getting a viewing on the property and looking to proceed, Green and Co Walmley letting totally missed both timelines they told me I would get an answer by (Rachel gave me those timelines). They could not get hold of their own landlord for several days. Then they came back with some laughable response that contradicted their own advert! The way they wasted my time was disgraceful and the way they dealt with me as a potential customer was very poor. I already let them know time was of the essence. I do NOT recommend them. I will never deal with Green and Co Walmley letting again or give them any future business. Looking at all the low rating reviews on here, I now see I am not the only one disappointed, after receiving such a poor service.

United Kingdom | 31 July 2023Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE,,,I asked for a viewing of commercial building & was TRJECTEF,,,told viewings by appointment only this WEDNESDAY OR NOT AT ALL POSSIBLE another Day. I'm a CASH BUYER,,,is this REAL,,,problem is I can't do Wednesday,,,Important meetings etc. If this was in U.S.....Realtors would be there already. Pitiful Service from Estate Agent. I presume they are lining this building up for a PREFERRED CUSTOMER. If this is the way its done in U.K....this Country in going into DEEP SLEEP.....trying yo do business in U.K...is NOT EASY in Property matters & Estate Agents like this make it near IMPOSSIBLE

United Kingdom | 20 July 2023Clint asked me for personal details - proof of funds for a property and my availability..then just didn’t get back to me! When I chased him 4 days later apparently he was at the stage of getting offers for the house and only had 2 viewing slots left during working hours - none of which were suitable. Clint confirmed viewings had taken place all week already (whilst I was available to view) - really disappointing service. The agents clearly aren’t bothered about ensuring everyone gets a fair chance to purchase a property. It seems they aren’t actually working in the best interest of the sellers (who will be funding their commission payments).

United Kingdom | 16 November 2021Avoid this agent !! In September a property in Minworth was listed at 280000. I have seen them raise the price of the same plot by 7500 GBP in 2 months. I visited a property for a viewing on Friday 12th November. Was told it was at 282500 and their office on Monday tells me it is now 287500 !! So they raised price by 5000 just over the weekend... And this despite them having no brochure about the property.. One of the most untrustworthy out there..

Shaz came out to value the property and explained the various options I had for selling it. He helped me understand the pros and cons of each and left me to make an informed decision. During this time he was always available on the end of the phone to answer my questions. In the end I chose to sell via Modern Auction. The marketing details they listed on their website were very good. I had about 20 viewings, hosted by various branches of Green & Company, in the space of 7 days before the auction closed. The final price achieved was better than expected. Thank you Shaz and team.
