Excellent course, well laid out and easy to follow. Time allocated is longer than stated but it makes you find out the answers.

I thought that this course would be difficult to do online. Yes it was difficult but the instructors were only an email away to help answer any queries. They always answered very promptly as well. The layout of the course was good and easily navigated. It was also very thorough. You are able to work at your own pace and only take final assessment once you have went through all the coursework and feel ready.

Very well set out course, easy to follow with lots of interesting and useful information provided. Potential problems with graphics on laptop anticipated and guides on how to rectify provided which worked as described.

Easy to book the course, getting assessed through each sections and having a final assessment. Complete and detailed, very important knowledge before doing the practical training. Online course while doing exercises on maps using spotter and compass (sent to you), and hard copies of the knowledge.

Excellent course and support

Coursework was comprehensive and relatively easy to follow , replies to any queries were answered very quickly by very educated and friendly staff, found I benefited doing the course online as I could do it when I wanted at my own pace . Altogether an excellent package would definitely recommend.

A couple of years ago I completed the RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Offshore Theory in preparation for the YM Offshore exam and it has been extremely helpful. Now I just completed the Yachtmaster Ocean Theory and was again very pleased with the experience. Competent and friendly instructors, who got back in no time to clarify some aspects I hadn't understood.
