Back in June 2022 I entered into a contract with First4Solar to supply a GivEnergy PV system with battery backup. They seemed fine to deal with up until the point they failed to attend 2 installation dates and then went into Administration. Not a great experience and very stressful. At the other end of the satisfaction scale lies EcoBubl. Whilst waiting for the original installation I became aware of EcoBubl from their YouTube videos so was aware that they supplied GivEnergy products and so I approached them. From Sarah designing the system to the brilliant Jade securing a fresh DNO offer quickly (SSEB cannot assign a previous offer to a new contractor you have to apply again) to Brad their contracts manager attending a site visit with me to discuss the project. They have all been excellent, helpful with great communication. The installation started last Monday with the arrival of Ben their excellent and knowledgeable electrician who was ably supported by Mikey. Andy and Nathan were our fantastic roofers who braved the heat to fix the panels on 3 separate roofs and with Ben made a great job of minimising the visibility of the roof cabling into the house. Brad attended the start of the installation and was there at the handover. They are a really great company to deal with and whilst I am not suggesting a name change, I have no hesitation from my experience in recommending them and if you are looking for a system and are within their area of operation, then please consider them as your first choice for your solar needs. They might be a bit more expensive but you do pay for what you get and my experience in using them has been nothing other than positive. Customer focus is clearly important to them and they deliver. The whole team at Ecobubl have been fantastic, from first contact to making sure I was happy with everything at the end. I had a rather lengthy install, though no fault of Ecobubl, and was kept updated at every step with excellent communication. I couldn't have wished for better.

Very professsional and friendly through the whole experience. Sarah in the office answering all my question at the beginning due to lack of my knowledge. Electrition Ben kept everything neat and tidy and made sure I totally happy with the installation before going off site. I had solar and air souce heat pump with air heater/ cooler units installed. It was really well organised by Brad and Martin and was completed satisfactorilly within 2 days. Being new to this new technology, I have been given helpful advice to guide me onto and along this eco journey. I've had solar since 2012 and a good deal of the solar power produced was being wasted and exported to the grid. Solar batteries being in short supply Ecobubl ordered a 9.5 KWhr Givenergy battery and inverter for us and Brad (contracts manager) applied for the system to be connected with the local DNO. The system was fitted very efficiently a few weeks ago by Mervyn, the engineer and the go ahead received from the DNO on 15th May. Since then the system has worked very effectively and we have used practically no power from the grid. I reckon it'll save us £70 - £80 per month as things go, more in the summer. Consider Ecobubl if you are looking for this. The service is excellent and Givenergy equipment looks and feels very high quality as well as working very well.

A great company to work with. They were most helpful during the design period and their info was clear and concise. The installers, Mervyn and Ben were excellent as were the roofers that fitted the panels. The whole system was done in less than 2 days and it looks like a very smart and tidy job has been done. I would thoroughly recommend them as a company to help design and install a PV and battery system. I understand that they also deal with Air and Ground Source Heat Pumps and EV chargers.

It was excellent service from the initial enquiry and visit by Brad to install and commissioning by Ben, the ever so knowledgeable installer. He was very thorough throughout and the 9.5kw battery is now up and running smoothly after just a morning’s work. All packaging was taken away and a full brief of how things work was given before departure. I just wish that I had selected Ecobubl as my total installer in the first instance. The company has high standards good price and quality installer’s and I highly recommend them.

Chose Ecobubl initially as they were local to me, based in the next town. I hadn't read any reviews. Wanted a newer inverter and an additional battery for my current setup. Initial visit from Brad and James was very confidence-building - clearly know what they're talking about. The install happened yesterday and today. Ben the electrician was extremely knowledgable to the point he even helped me to decide on a slightly different configuration for the EPS. So thanks for that Ben! For the last 9 months, I have been running a YouTube channel, called Gary Does Solar, which aims to help people who are interested to getting solar and battery for their home by providing them with solid, reliable information on the topic. You can imagine then, it was important for me, in choosing a supplier for my own installation, that they were credible, trustworthy and reliable - not least because some of my viewers might wish to choose that same supplier for themselves, based on my action and experience. I chose Ecobubl, not because I thought they were the cheapest (the solar market is only just starting to grow rapidly, and just like in the 1980s with double-glazing, there will be plenty of cowboys out there, offering you a cheap price - one that you may live to regret later) but because I had checked them out thoroughly before contacting them. You only have to watch the YouTube videos they have made to see the great level of care they put into customer installations - and the passion of the team involved. For me, this started with Sarah, who was my primary point of contact and handled the sale. She listened carefully to my requirements, and worked up a solution to meet them. As my roof had a number of Velux windows, it wasn't a straightforward process, but Sarah knew what she was doing and led me through the entire process step by step - I had every faith in her. I was then introduced to Brad, who came to visit me, to look over everything at my house, to ensure EcoBubl could indeed provide the solution put forward. Brad would essentially lead the entire installation process. He was meticulous in everything he did, and gave me a great deal of confidence that everything would go well. Brad kept me up to date on every aspect and even managed a few changes I requested along the way - one of the best project managers I've seen, and in my career (in the mobile industry) I've worked with many. On the week of the installation itself, Andy and Nathan carried out all of activities on the roof. I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing, and everything went incredibly smoothly. And they explained everything they were doing along the way - I had real confidence in them. At the same time, Ben and Mervin carried out all of the electrical installation, including two large batteries and a backup power system (EPS) I had requested at the last minute. I studied electrical and electronic engineering back in the day, so it was a joy to see these guys at work - true professionals, and like Andy and Nathan, they explained everything they were doing, and were happy answer any questions I had. Brad came over towards to the end of the installation, to check everything was going well, complete the commissioning aspects, and took me through what would be happening next, including the various items of documentation I would be receiving (e.g. MCS certificate). My experience with Ecobubl was amazing - this was a team of people who I could trust, and that counts for an incredible amount when you're spending thousands of pounds. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. And good luck with your own solar installation, whatever you decide!

Excellent design and quality of products used. The installation of the Solar panels and Batteries were carried out with great attention to detail by experienced and qualified engineers. Plus It came with a first class access to an App that monitors the complete system, giving constant performance information, with easy to understand instruction on its use. I was given a good handover explanation of the system and its operation. Its good to know that Ecobubl are always available to help with any queries or technical issues I might need plus the full backing of Givenergy's warranties and guarantees.
