Jag har haft 10 fantastiska dagar hos Petra och Fredrik på Helsinglight. På kursen har vi fått lära oss allt ifrån att skulptera en karaktär till att måla vår färdiga silikonmask. Dagarna har minst sagt varit intensiva och hållit en hög kvalitet. Jag har njutit varenda minut i sällskap av både fantastiska lärare och underbara kursdeltagare. Hoppas våra vägar möts snart igen!

Fick uppleva ett underbart kreativt äventyr när jag gick en 10 dagars maskkurs i silikon hos Helsinglight. I en miljö som andas kreativitet välkomnas man av värdparet Petra och Fredrik. Dessa två underbara personer där deras passion för kreativitet, lärande och omtänksamhet verkar genomsyra hela deras tillvaro. Med ett engagemang utan dess like delar läraren Petra med sin av sin oerhörda kunskap och passion med en väldigt god pedagogisk och professionell vägledning genom hela utbildningen. Fick uppleva och lära mig så otroligt mycket på dessa dagar. Tack för att ni gjorde så att tid och rum försvann samtidigt som ni gav mig kunskap, glädje, kreativitet, inspiration och vänner. På återseende, för tillbaks ska jag :)

From start to end an well executed education that offers a good start in mask making. I have learned a lot, not only to make a silicon mask, I also got a new platform of creativity to create from. All of Helsinglight including the surrounding area breaths of a soulful creativity and magic that lingers. I have created unforgettable memories. I will be returning to Helsinglight and I strongly recommend for others to join in a Helsinglight activity. Thanks to Petra, devoted teacher, Fredrik and Liv but also all other inhabitants of Helsinglight.

I have just completed the 11 day silicone class and I can say without doubt this is the best course that I have been on. I have learnt so much over the 11 days and have learnt so much. Petra is a fantastic teacher who provides so much information and guidance throughout the process while you are able to gain hands on experience in so many techniques to help create your mask. Both Petra & Fredrick are fantastic hosts and create a lovely atmosphere at Helsinglight that makes it such a wonderful place to stay. I cannot recommend house of Helsinglight enough and am already planning my next visit!

This is a true masterclass, worth every cent. Petra is a brilliant teacher, the welcome and care at Helsinglight puts you in a creative, safe space, and makes you feel like you belong from first day. With patience and great knowledge, you are guided through a great experiance. You learn much more than expected in 10 days, and Petra is totally present during all days to make you accomplish a result to be very proud of. I arrived to Helsinglight with the only intention to try something new, and left with a new passion, a higher confidence in my my craft, and some great new friends. I will definitely be back!

Me and my partner just spent 11 days as Alternative Artists in Residence at Helsinglight in the beginning of July 2020, and let me just say WOW! We knew some info beforehand about the location, but we were overwhelmed by the beauty and size of the place and above all the generosity of the hosts and owners Petra and Fredrik. Open arms (metaphorically, with COVID-distance) to the whole place from the get go, and tips and inspiration on what to do and experience during the stay. The house is still under construction BUT the living space for the AAiR (bedroom / kitchen / living room / deluxe bathroom) are all top notch renovated, both technologically (eg. great WiFi and wireless bluetooth speaker) and design wise, as is the gallery space on the ground floor. The not-yet-renovated spaces around the house are amazing for photo shoots and filming (as we pursued during our visit), and keeping the soul, history and serenity of the place are paramount to Petra and Fredrik for all renovations. There's also the amazing and huge atelier / work space on the ground floor, where all are welcome to sit and work. The location is awesome, and only sounds from birds and the wind rustling through the trees around are heard. Me and my partner can't wait to return there for eg. exhibitions and performances, and the positive energy and endless possibilities you get from Petra and Fredrik will be with me for a long time, in hopes of many more collaborations in the future. So I joined The Creative Challenge. Best decision this Covid 19 period. I have followed Helsinglight for a long time. Finding their work and location very inspiring. I have not visited them yet. But this Challenge was a first taste and certainly created a longing for more. Very well arranged. Inspiring themes and good instructions. I would not hesitate to do this again. And can surely recommend it.

I had the greatest experience to have a private course for 10 days but ended up staying 16 days! I ended up doing some extra details for future personal use. When you have already taken your time to travel, why not take the opertunity to get more experience? Would be down to live there the rest of my life! 😎👌✨💕
