Booked a table as we had 9 in our group.got our order taken quickly mine was the second plate out and my veg was ice cold my roast potatoes cold in the middle and yorkshire pud was dense and heavy and cold gravy was hot so I sent my plate back and asked for it to be microwaved to get it hot.my mum and daughters roast dinner was luke warm at best my dad's fish pie was so hot it burnt his tounge. My husbands chips tasted like they had reheated them and it was his birthday meal. It's true what they say have a great experiance you tell a few people and highly recommend it but have a bad experiance and you let everyone you can know about how bad it was. That was £170 SO BADLY SPENT AND I HOPE THEY DIDNT CHARGE ME FOR SERVICE AS NOT ONE MEMBER OF STAFF CAME NEAR US IN FACT WE LEFT WITHOUT STAFF ACKNOWLEDGING US.

Been here again today, food as ever is absolutely gorgeous! You can really taste the difference for farm to plate food. Customer service as ever good, food delicious!!! The decor is lovely. Can’t wait to come back again

Went for a festive afternoon tea, with my daughter and granddaughter. We was shown to a table very quickly but then left for about 20 mins whilst we could clearly see waiters taking orders from people who arrived after us. When we asked to be served we got a sharp reply of "your next" and an eye roll. The afternoon tea was disapointing, although nothing exactly wrong with any of the food on the plate it was mainly made up of very sweet and sickly cakes, definatly needs the ratio of sweet and savoury addressing. Other food I saw being served did look nice but don't order afternoon tea there.

Extremely disappointing visit!!! Had to wait ages to be served even though there were staff stood around doing nothing! Food was ok … nothing special! When told it was the wrong meal the young lad serving us actually rolled his eyes & walked off mumbling! When he brought my meal he slammed the plate down in front of me! Openly talking about us to other staff to the point it ruined our family meal which cost almost £100 Some “customer service” training would be extremely helpful! Some people should not be working in an environment where they have to actually be “nice” to paying customers ! Would definitely not recommend! End of the day if somethings wrong it needs rectifying & if these young members of staff can’t deal with it then they’re in the wrong jobs!

Went here for lunch the first time in years. Years ago it was a decent place but atrocious now First of all , we sat outside as it was a decent day, tables were filthy, menus dirty. I had to ask 3 times to different members of staff if they could give our table a wipe, even offered to do this myself if they gave me a cloth. This woman came out with a sponge and a little bowl of water, she was scowling throughout, ( like I’d gone in her house and p@ssed on her kids! ) , I tried to make light of the situation whilst thanking her for her help, she said nothing just gave all our party filthy looks. The glasses were dirty, food dry and overcooked, one of us got a ham and pickle sandwich, it was drowned in pickle hardly any ham. I never saw any member of staff wipe a table outside, and dirty plates were left outside for ages before they collected them in. Spent £100 on a really bad experience, only positive was a couple of sausage rolls from the farm shop which was nice.

It perhaps was not a good time to go? We went on Wednesday at about 3:45/4:00pm. The adult meals were fine, cooked fresh, the chicken burger was tasty, the ploughman’s did not have to be cooked but was tasty. The child’s meal of lasagne and chips was very dry and had been pre cooked, barely warm, the chips pre cooked and floppy. Quite disappointing as we had heard the food was good. The child’s milk shake was really basic too, in a small milk bottle, it was just a nestquick type, no ice cream and was not cold, which would have been better as it was a hot day. The child’s meal and drink was £13 in total, quite a lot as it was not drunk or eaten Over all, it would not be a visit I would make anytime soon.

The pie was atrocious, obviously put in the microwave. The meat in the pie was all dried up☹️ Meant to come with mushy peas and when mentioned to the waitress she said “ I’ll get you some if you want it” then it was cold. This place is meant to be good quality food and service😟😟I DONT THINK SO. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Had a gift voucher for afternoon tea at farmer copleys . We've been going since they started 20 years ago when there was only a tiny shop in the corner. Afternoon tea was lovely, everything was tasty and fresh.there was so much food that we ended up taking boxes home .really good and the best scotch eggs we've ever had. Can't fault it at all

My first ever visit was for our very first family pumpkin picking and it was amazing and fun the kids loved it. I had had 5 years of failed santa visits and farmer copleys was my last attempt of trying and they keep out on top... my youngest children was amazed,, the magic was unreal and it was so warm, caring and loving. I will defernatly be back again & again and again.

Overpriced and too muddy to enjoy any of it. We left after 10mins as children got stuck. No one around to help. Pumpkins full of mud so you were unable to choose any decent ones. Cars stuck in the mud. Just awful

Visited today (29th oct 2023) like we always do every year, £7 to enter so cost £21 for a family of 3. So so muddy to the point it wasn’t enjoyable walking about as you had to concentrate to stay stood up! £10 deposit that you get back for a wheel barrow, no queue to get it just hassle to take back and get past the queue etc. plenty of pumpkins but expensive. Only a few rides for the kids all at extra costs. Couldn’t get to photo opportunities because it was too hard to get about on the ground. No hay and walk ways only in main part. Got some food- cheesy chips and sausage roll / and doughnuts and Nutella. Both sets of staff didn’t want to be there. One was saying why are people still here, they need to go home. The others at doughnut one were rude, my mum did something wrong so said sorry it’s been a long day, for the reply, try working behind here. Not in a jokey way. Left feeling annoyed. One positive the men in the carpark! Fantastic helping people, giving shoves to people to help them get out. Directing. Unfortunately after visiting for many years I won’t be returning for this event. Needs updating and money spending on the ground for rainy days.

First time visiting after hearing so many people raving about it. But I hate to say that we will not be returning. The tickets are very overpriced, considering that you literally get entry and that's all. Rides, food, Pumpkins, wheelbarrow hire are all extra, and extortionate at that. Everywhere was also extremely muddy, due to all the rain that we have had recently. Whilst this is obviously unavoidable, measures should have been put in place afterwards to ensure the ground is safe to walk on..both my daughters got their wellies stuck in the mud and ended up standing in it, whilst we grabbed their welly. We were slipping constantly, my eldest daughter fell over and has completely ruined her jacket and trousers. Absolutely nothing had been done by Farmer Copleys to try and help customers get around the grounds, gravel, hay plastic boards could have been used, especially with how much profit they have made from the event. Really disappointing.

Visited with friends for breakfast but were extremely disappointed. I ordered Eggs Benedict costing £10.99 with a side order of Flat Mushrooms. Both poached eggs were hard and the mushrooms turned our to be one mushroom slightly bigger than a 50p. This solitary mushroom cost me £1.89!! I should have complained straight away but didn’t want to spoil the occasion by making a fuss. The moral of this story is complain if unhappy with food but lesson learned for me ‘ I won’t be back’ !

We as a family have gone here every year since our first born (7 years ago) - sadly this will be end of the family tradition. It has simply become far too expensive to justify. We began the day at the café. Expensive though it was . Eg £4.20 for a mocha. The quality of the breakfast was excellent so fair enough push the boat out. The problem was the festival. It used to be free or a nominal fee. Now it is £21 for a family of 3 - nothing has been added to remotely justify this. I am baffled what £21 grants you because everything inside the gates has to be paid for aside from a dj, lovely though he was, that struggled with sound system issues throughout. Every ride had to be paid for. Very basic level ones £3. The biggest insult were the dodgems. The kids were keen. There were no prices displayed but were aghast to be charged £14 for 2 dodgems 😲 for 5 mins. As for the pumpkins themselves. £10 to rent a wheelbarrow (redeemable on rtn but hassle). Picked a medium pumpkin and were charged £4.50 which cost £1.69 at Aldi. All in all just felt like a commodity to be fleeced to the maximum extent. What used to be a fun day out has become an overpriced somewhat soulless experience . Shame. £7.50 for a bacon or sausage sandwich. £3.50 for a pot of tea. YOUVE GOT TO BE KIDDING. Half a mile down the road to Victoria Garden Centre. Excellent food and not rip off prices.
