Canada | 27 February 2025Supposedly I won a couple of auctions but I never received notification from them, they say they emailed me 3 times. I checked inbox, spam and deleted and nothing from them. They now ruined my ability to bid on all HiBid auctions and they don't care at all that I never received their emails. The amount was for $45,000.00 and they didn't make one phone call to me to see if I received email. They are extremely rude, arrogant and they don't deserve to be dealing with the public. Shame on HiBid to have such losers working with them.

United States | 28 January 2025These guys price fix. One bidder, at the last hours swept every single precious metal and jewelry lot with a spot price (or higher) bid. There is NO WAY, in a million years, that a single person is going to buy out an entire auction, unless it is the auction themselves. Anybody can see through this. If you don't believe me, wait until the last hours of any of their auctions, go to the bids received tab, and look for the same name EVERY time. Hundreds of lots, all the same bidder. Ridiculous; never will I bid at AAE auction again and you can take the one crappy item I won and put it where you defecate. BTW - Their name is not Assured Asset Exchange, that is a DBA. United States | 30 December 2024I bought an ounce of gold from this website. Actually won (2) of them. Won them at at a good price. I read the terms and everything. My problem that I had with them was the cost of shipping, (2) one ounce gold bars do not weigh much. I understand there are handling plus postage. When I received the receipt, it showed $96.00 . That right $96 US dollars. I sent them a message which they replied was for Insurance cost plus shipping. Now I'm thinking shipping is about $10, maybe $15. But $80-$85 for insurance!!!! It's a bit excess!!! I sent another message for a copy of the UPS receipt (UPS shipping charge shown on my receipt) their reply was the tracking number from FedEx only!!!!! Since shipping/handling/insurance are not disclosed, I'm assuming they want to make more money in that cost and not letting customers/government know. I will not be purchasing from Assured Assets Exchange again!!!! I'll purchase from Gold dealers and probably pay a little less without HIDDEN FEES!!!!

United States | 20 September 2024I won a few items and would like to use my card instead of a wire transfer. I dont know any of you personally. I dont trust my banking information being out there like that.

United States | 21 August 2024I have been trying to get in touch with support to change my credit card on file and no one answers

United States | 20 July 2024Well I have noticed after a ring I won (shipped in timely manner) shows to be on several other auctions as well, leading me to believe that the jewelry is fake no matter what they say. I have seen so many new auctions selling the same jewelry and other items that were in my first auction. Sketchy to me. I never had an issue with shipping or payment. But I guess I'm tapping out.

United States | 17 July 2024The item listed was not clear and I asked for a refund of the cost and the customer service was extremely rude. I was expecting that the item i bid on was a handbag and not a painting print of a handbag! I would definitely be careful in doing business with this company.

United States | 29 June 2024DO NOT BID ON THEIR AUCTIONS! I recently bid on an emerald ring with an "appraised value" of $5500. I understand this is not the value of the ring, but like many others, I based by bid on the ring being somewhere in the ball park of at least half that. I paid $730 for the ring plus the outrageous premium of 21%. When I got the ring I was seriously disappointed. I took it to two local jewelry stores and was told it was worth $200 at best. When I contacted Assured Assets I was told the appraisals aren't theirs and your warned not to bid off the appraisals. I was then called a "baby trader" whatever the hell that means. These people are frauds. I've filed complaints with HiBid and the Kentucky Secretary of State, which probably won't do any good. Beware of these scam artists. The auctioneer did tell me he would buy the ring back for $200. lol.

United States | 27 June 2024WIRE MD THEM MONEY AND COULD NIT FULFILL ORDER!!! But they continued hosting auctions selling the same exact stuff. This company is a scam. Suppose to be fine extra fine and uncirculated condition half the stuff was way worse condition and selling it uncirculated stay away! Company is a ripoff

United States | 22 June 2024Their so-called appraiser Premier Gem Laboratory (PGL) doesn't even exist in the BBB. When I inquired about this they said they don't know why. When I asked if they would issue a refund if the items were found to be fake, they threatened to pass my invoice off to the next. Told them to go ahead and shove it. Do your research!

Canada | 04 May 2024I have had nothing but issues with this group. I have tried to play nice but the gloves are coming off. The owe me several thousands of dollars, issue invoices and access my credit card. I have no option but to refer the case to both the Provincial and Federal Governments. My attorney is through the cross border trade agreements for this business now.

United States | 06 April 2024This was by far the WORST transaction of my life. The description didn’t come close to the actual watch. ANYONE buying a watch from these people beware. My watch was all different serial numbers nothing was authentic, I went to multiple places trying to sell it and they all said the same thing in different ways. “Where’d you get this thing? The dial and the bezel are all after market. They sold me a 16613 and yet it was basically just pieces put together to make it a bluesy submariner not an actual 16613 bluesy. I called for a refund and forget the fake watch they sent me that HEFFER that answers the phone was worse than the bs watch. Of course they’re from Kentucky they’re just hillbillies that try screwing over “us yanks and city folk”. Without a doubt the last answering the phones needs an attitude check. She’s just a nasty heffer. I wouldn’t buy another thing from them ever again and if it’s your first time don’t waste your time and money. I’m beyond furious and feel like I been robbed or scammed which both is true it was just by a couple of hillbillies

United States | 21 March 2024Though I've been happy with my purchases, they don't give very good descriptions of many items and their photos are often horrible. I also pay a premium on shipping for the slowest shipping possible! For those reasons, I don't think I will buy from this auction house again.

United States | 07 March 2024I have done business with this company for a few years now and everything has always been done professionally with that feeling of quality you expect when making significant purchases. Recently I found myself a little behind financially and on the hook for a large sum with Aabids. I was stressed and generally unfriendly with my words but the customer service team members there were unfazed and resolved my issue calmly which helped me tremendously. If you’re thinking of making a purchase with this company but are understandably nervous about sending a large sum in the hopes a package will arrive with what you won …. You can be confident everything will go according to plan. You can trust this company … there are no “bots” to deal with but real people who care about their customers and want to do the right thing. Not every auction house is like that …. But these guys are the real deal.

United States | 05 March 2024Well well well, for 10 auctions I wonder why is everything I bid on all the sudden outbid me. Well let me tell you a lil secret. They have their own bidders going at the online auction to get the prices up to what THEY want…. I called them out a few times and all I got was extra processing fees!!!! So if you want to get screwed bid away!!! Sincerely Jas*n J. $@!%

United States | 05 March 2024I've mostly had good experiences with AAbids, with the auctions. I've never had a problem with the jewelry i won at auction except one time when i won a ring, in the description stated it was 14kt gold but it keeps turning my finger green and none of my other jewelry i purchased from AAbids turns. So I don't know what happened with this paticular ring but its very disappointing. That is the reason why i haven't been participating in anymore auctions. Ive wone plenty of auctions with AAbids but im apprehensive now.
