The pads were for my mum because she felt guilt when I told her why I use reuseable pads, well she loves them but they took a week to dispatch, it’s not like they are being carefully prepared to be sent in an air tight capsule to the moon, they just needed to be bunged in a box and shipped, I would understand if they were made to order but they arnt, however they are great pads for a nervous first user.

Do it, do it, do it! I've dithered about investing. First #plasticfreeperiod and won't be looking back! Comfy beyond belief.

My order arrived on time and is exactly as described on the website The pads are soft and more comfortable to wear than non reusable products. Easy to clean too.

I was intrigued to try reusable pads since I've been looking for a way to use less plastic during my periods. Since I had the IUD fitted it was recommended that I don't use the cup and whilst tampons beforehand were good, they are no longer an option for me to use all the time. After having a thorough research I decided to try Bloom & Nora's. Here's what I thought after trying the Midi pad during the day and Maxi pad at night: 1) Comfort: very comfortable - they are slightly bulkier than normal pads so feels a bit odd at first but really you forget about it very quickly. They are not noticeable in jeans/everyday clothes. Though in tight pyjama pants I felt like the Maxi was more noticeable (baggy pj pants would be fine though). I'm not sure how I'd feel wearing one to the gym, I think maybe I'd have to wear a Mini one for the gym because otherwise you might be able to see the Midi/Maxi through leggings. Very soft though and not at all bothersome on the skin. Felt like sitting on a fluffy cushion until you forgot it was there at all! 2) Absorbency: I was very impressed. The first two days are usually fairly heavy for me and they both absorbed very well. 3) Smell: Negligible! And post-wash fresh as a daisy. 4) Security: Mostly felt very secure! It doesn't shift much, though I did leak a little onto my pjs in the evening before I changed to the Maxi pad. I think that was more me though because I was lying down on my side for a while whilst reading and think I displaced it slightly through shuffling around. But then again I was lying on my side/back and shuffling around a lot though the night (which turned out to be a very heavy night) whilst sleeping and it didn't leak then so the leak was probably just bad luck. I very much enjoy the popper button wings, they keep it in place nicely. 5) Wash-ability: Impressed again! I followed instructions - rinsed them out with cold water after I took them off to get as much fluid out as possible, then threw them into the washing machine with non bio powder and no fabric softener, and they've come out delightfully clean! Not 100% as pristine as before I used them, maybe 97%, but I am very impressed. 6) Design: I think they look really cute and colourful. They seem to be very well made and robust. Again, the poppers make it feel really well held. Definitely made a usually tiresome week a little brighter. Overall a very positive experience and I think I will be investing in more so that I can move away from plastic pads entirely :)

Was so nervous about using pads again after using just a moon cup for 4 years, but I absolutely love them. So soft, perfect shape, very absorbent, easy to wash and non leaky. Thankyou so much!!

Excellent product and service. Delivery was fast - super fast on my first order pre Christmas. Product is great, well made and washes well. I was a bit of an divvy and messed up my second order however I got in touch via the chat function and the issue was dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner by Hannah if I remember correctly. I have ordered twice and would truly recommend.

These are amazing. I admit I was a little sceptical at first but they are so much better than normal sanitary towels. They are so soft, very absorbent and need changed less often than normal towels. They are so comfortable and very easy to clean. Will not be going back to disposable sanitary towels.

Simple to order, quick delivery, great product. The comfort of the pads are so different from disposable ones. It stays in place without problem, it feels soft and absorbs well. I was a bit worried that the buttons would be uncomfortable when cycling, but it's perfectly fine. The pads are easy to wash and care for you, so I am very happy with my purchase. I hope they last long, as they are on the pricer side, but only time will tell! For now, they do feel robust enough.

Thought I might have got something to put it in, like a bag for when soiled, didn't realise it was on its own. its the first one I have bought, as I am trying to go more planet friendly. It does move a bit more than I thought as it's not sticky or no velcro etc. Not sure about purchasing anymore at this point.
