Great delivery reliable and excellent quality

Delicious Welsh cheese and stock one of my favourites Y Fenni, my custom selection order arrived on time , chilled with cool packs and well presented.

The only place I will get speciality cheese. They are an amazing company. Huge selection of great producers and knowledgeable and super-friendly staff. It’s so good to buy local, and their business model is great.

Excellent customer service, my faith is restored, and I will definitely be ordering again :) [Original review] All my previous lucky dip box orders from The Welsh Cheese Co have been brilliant, but this time it was a real let down ☹️. I know the whole point is that it's a surprise selection, but from typically 6 cheeses you'd expect to be able to put together a decent cheeseboard. Nope. No blue cheese, no washed-rind cheese, but 3 different kinds of cheddar! I love a good cheddar, but I don't need 3 of them at once, especially when 1 of those has crystallised ginger in it 🤢. And 2 of the cheeses contained peppers - nice enough in themselves, but again, I want more variety than that. Disappointing

I enjoyed the ordering process immensely, not least because I felt reconnected with the Land of My Fathers, albeit in a somewhat esoteric, dairy sense. The cheeses I ordered are excellent, though the Caerphilly has a different character from that which I recall from childhood, being creamier and not at all crumbly. The Calon Lan chutney is excellent and reminds me of my mother’s homemade chutney. I would happily recommend this company. I should add that the packaging and delivery were outstanding!
