United States | 29 August 2020I ordered the 25 dollar grab bag on 7/20 I recieved the shtf mystery box instead. I called and was told to either keep it or it would take a long time to get the right item, so i kept it and waited till 8/20 to try again and the exact same thing happened it is even the same bax down to the items inside. I called on tuesday to let them know and to try to get it fixed. I was told she would have to talk to the warehouse to find out why i was recieving the wrong thing and she would call me back the next day. I waited till friday before I called back this time the lady was nice and helpful but was told yet again they could send me a shipping label and i could send it back to get the right bag but it could take awhile so i asked to get my money back instead. Im still waiting on the shipping label and return letter. Im sorry to say but this was there fault and it happened twice they should do the right thing and send me the correct bag without me having to wait for this crap to ship back. total BS.

The Pro-Trump cover of the latest catalog was the last straw. I don't want my little girl exposed to this type of blatant partisan propaganda, not to mention the plethora of Nazi, Hitler Youth & Third Reich "memorabilia". I only ever purchased Hibben knives & classic swords but I now regret ever giving one dime to Bud K. Never again.

Make sure you read every little loophole and fine print you can find or they will make every excuse and point out anything they can to say they were not in the wrong. Even when you click on product and it said in stock and ships today. It won't show up for a week. That's if you pay extra for 2 day express like I did.

They were running behind due to the pandemic on their knife of the mo the shipment,. When I called they told me the truth and it shipped when they said it would. I don't ask for much more than that. If you get the knife of the month I reccomend the $29 dollar one at least

First- An item I ordered was falsely advertised, and not really the real product- What I had ordered was to be of “metal” and was plastic! I let it go, gave it away, as it was under $10 plus S&D. But last week I was sent 3 items that were i” pure s..t, not at all what I ordered, not even close to the items I had ordered!! After numerous phone calls to 2 of the depts- customer service and returns, all of which have gone unreturned, and 2 emails to their customer service Dept. I have decided to cancel the credit card charges under the claim of “fraud and deception” and might be informing the tv stations here, as well as our states attorney general’s office of BUDK’s abhorrent practices of treating their customers with disgenious and disgusting lack of respect!! Buyer BEWARE!!!!!

What a bunch of snakes accusing me of fraud-i saved all their emails for evidence so we will see.

United States | 10 April 2020I made an order which they amended without telling me. When questioned they said it would be shipped when in stock. I recieved a different product that arrived missing a vital piece. They took over 2 weeks to send the return lable, after multiple requests. I have sent dozens of emails getting the run around. First they denied seing the item on my original order, then after i showed proof another dozen emails back and forth they said their shipping was shut down due to the virus. I had to tell them that the item was back in stock. They told me to check their site for updates. I did and it said they are shipping and processing daily. I have asked for a superviser multiple times , but am ignored. Their phone number never rings through, just voicemail to customer service that they never respond to!

United States | 11 February 2020My beautiful Honshu sword came with one of the 2 screws on the handle missing. The sword has 2 screws, and 1 is missing, duh! I liked the sword, didn't want to make big stink about it, just asked them to send me the missing screw. That's when BudK started acting like zombie co. They kept insisting that I had to send the sword back for an exchange. A few e-mails and phone calls later I gave up, they'd rather waste everyone's time and their resources on irrational activities, instead of choosing the easiest, cheapest and fastest solution. Customer disservice, that's what their customer service really is.

United States | 11 January 2019BUDK are reliable in my experience. I've got a gas mask collection, and have ordered three from them so far. In each instance, they've generally been in good shape with exception to the GP-5 i got, which had seen some wear and tear which I couldn't really blame them for. They shipped the masks with their original bags too, which was a real plus as someone who enjoys the history of these items. If they begin selling more masks in the future, I am very likely to buy.

They will email you saying the issue is solved, then follow that with another email saying it has not. Always pay with credit card cause it’s most likely you’ll have to resolve the issue with the credit card company cause budk are shady or disorganized.

United States | 07 December 2018Be careful about what you buy from this company. They will not pay for shipping back anything in a return. The items they sell can be heavy and cost more than the item is worth to ship back. This, despite their catalog's misleading or false description of the item. It costs more to ship back than the item is worth, so if you buy it, you will own it, no matter what. Their customer service people are smart asses and useless. I do not recommend this company. Find it somewhere else.
