Karen Lau and her team at Furnishr made the entire process of furnishing my upscale oceanfront vacation rental property a breeze. Even despite delays and uncertainty due to COVID, she and her team communicated often and well, and provided viable alternatives when items were delayed or stocked out. I am so pleased with the overall process, from the design options, the tracking website, to the delivery and installation (which include hauling away the packing materials!) that I recommend Furnishr to anyone I know who is in the market for furnishings, particularly my colleagues who are managing their short term rental properties from out of state. We will definitely use Furnishr again in the future!

Great service! Karen was able to work with my tight schedule and helped me choose the furniture for my new home. The movers arrived in time and assembled everything quickly. There was a delay with my lamps but it worked out fine in the end. Overall very satisfied with my shopping experience with furnishr and with the quality of my furniture!

When my wife and I bought an out-of-state short-term rental property we needed to furnish it to make it appealing to potential renters. I knew that the harmony the furniture created will be a great selling point. Initially, we tried to do everything by ourselves, but then I found out about Furnishr. This seems too good to be true and my wife was reluctant since she never heard anything about the company. Ever since we contacted them, they were very responsive and worked with us to make sure our vision was translated into our place. The design process was very smooth and the prices very fair. There was only one hiccup during the whole process and Furnishr was quick to solve the issue and make things right. It was a great experience that took away the stress of coordinating deliveries from multiple stores. If I ever needed to get new furniture for my house I would definitely use them again.

I hired Furnishr to furnish a 5 bedroom vacation house in Canada. The process started with a call with Karen, the co-founder, and she collected all of our information. One important thing to clarify is the latest move-in date. This informs the entire process, since many pieces require 2-3+ months lead-time and if you have a quick move in date, your designer will work with a limited selection. In our case, we had a miscommunication where I needed to move in early February, but they targeted end of Feb. After we picked out all of our pieces with the designer, we realized the date inconsistency. However, it meant that we needed to repick all of our major furniture picks because our existing picks would not make it on time. This was the biggest disappointment for us, to have the perfect furniture selection and then to say "bye" to it. Despite this, Karen apologized right away and tried her best to make it right, offering options like multiple delivery dates or restarting the process with the designer. We ended up purchasing just a subset of products that would make it on time. I do have to say that I really wish that we could have just bought all the furniture pieces with Furnishr because I really loved the design and quality of the pieces that we did get. Coordinating furniture delivery from multiple stores was a lot of work for us, so I wish we could have just gotten it all from Furnishr. Despite the mix-up this time, I would still use Furnishr in the future and recommend it to my friends. It was really great working with Karen overall, excellent customer service. Whenever we had issues, Karen would be very responsive and fix it right away. Thanks Karen!

I paid over $6,000 for Furnishr to furnish my new apartment. Their "white glove delivery" took the form of three young men reeking of pot who had never assembled furniture before. Nearly everything was assembled wrong and damaged, due to the low quality of the pieces. A year later, I have had to replace everything but the lamp, coffee table, and an accent chair. Many of the pieces I paid for could be located on Wayfair at a fraction of the cost. This was a waste of my hard earned money.

Karen and the furnishr team really exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The design process was straight forward and she made great suggestions. We couldn’t be there for the delivery, but our apartment looked gorgeous and 100% ready to live in the moment we walked through the doors on move in day. I have suggested this company to everyone I know who is moving and can’t wait to use them again! Thanks!

I highly recommend Furnishr. Their service allowed me to furnish 90% of my new apartment to my satisfaction, with little effort on my behalf. During my design consultation I was given very good (and realistic) advice regarding what furniture would suit the layout of my apartment.

The experience overall was pretty great! Our process involved about 5-6 reviews with our designer Danielle (we were experimenting with a few things while balancing our budget) and she was very responsive and attentive every step of the way. When we received our order, everything looked beautiful and accurate to all the pictures. Would definitely recommend Furnishr to all my friends.

UPDATED REVIEW Happy to state that I now have all my furniture! Karen did a great job of communicating with me once I voiced my displeasure, and she stayed on top of the delivery process. She also gave me a small refund for the scuff marks on the bedside tables. The furniture are generally fine, and i recommend the service if you're too busy to handle buying new furniture and you're not overly time sensitive.

I reached out to Furnishr more than a month before my move-in date. After reading what I read here, I was concerned about their punctuality and the quality of the furniture, so I asked about the delays and why some people here didn't receive their items on time. The delivery operations team assured me that those comments were made in the midst of Covid, and because I'm scheduling my delivery over a month in advance, there shouldn't be any issues day of. I believed them and spent the money for my new studio apartment. Wish I hadn't. 1. Delivery: out of 7 items, 3 were missing and 1 was wrong. When I reached out to the same operations individual mentioned above, she told me she had conflicting messages from me and the manager, and it says on her end everything was delivered. I took videos and pictures of what was missing (the apartment empty...), then they sent me what I had ordered the next day. The item that was wrong, however, is still wrong, and I'm still waiting for them to replace it. They offered me a refund for the items that were late, but honestly, I would rather that things were delivered correctly and on time, and I paid in full. That's the whole point. 2. Quality: I never thought I would hate an inanimate object as much as I hate the rug they delivered. It's shedding so much that there's white fur in my hair, my food, my dogs, the couch, in the keys in my keyboard as I type this. When I reached out to the same person, she said it was a long-haired style rug, and that was normal. But she agreed to a swap, as they promise quality or exchange, but it's been a couple of weeks with no luck. I'm going to throw this rug out, eat the cost, and buy a new one. The entire concept of this company is to make moving easy and quick. This process has been one of nightmares, and if you're reading this, just go to a furniture store and buy what you need, they deliver and set up for a cost anyway.

Furnishr attempts to solve a big problem in the market. The value proposition of getting a designer to help furnish a new place, then getting delivery and assembly of all pieces on one day is super compelling, and if well executed, would've been a home run. Unfortunately I ran into a number of issues using them. 1. Shipping delays. I had to receive 3 separate shipments of furniture even though I ordered over 3 weeks before I wanted delivery, which is what's advertised on the site for San Francisco delivery times. There was also somewhat poor communication around deliveries, like I'd only find out the day before if I wasn't getting everything that I was expecting by the next day. 2. Furniture was damaged. I have defects on 3 out of the 7 pieces of furniture that I ordered, and Furnishr gave me a 2.5% discount to keep the furniture. My furniture was expensive, and supposedly from the same manufacturers that serve Crate & Barrel. I'm almost wondering if the business model is to get somewhat defective furniture at a lower cost, then selling it. I've never had these issues buying directly from West Elm or CB2. 3. The designer was extremely nice and very responsive, I enjoyed working with her a lot. But now that I have my furniture, it's clear that some of her recommendations were not doable with the space I have. She initially recommended 6 dining chairs for my dining table. I took her down to 4, and now that I have the table, 6 chairs never would've fit. She also said I could do a 110" sectional, I decided to go with a 92" sectional, which is probably the max size I could've gone with. I wish they had a better tool to do 3D visualizations of spaces or could take space into account better.

I recommend Furnishr to anyone looking to be more deliberate and “bespoke” about their decor. We discovered Furnishr online when thinking about innovative ways to furnish our 5-bedroom home. We started working with our designer to furnish the 800SF guest apartment. After having such a smooth experience, we decided to use the service to furnish our living/dining rooms, home office, and bedrooms. The experience was very personalized and flexible. Our design consultant never seemed to tire of frequent pivots in preferences and selections. She was even willing to incorporate pieces directly from other stores into our overall design - showing that the company is interested in the holistic design than just pushing their own inventory. Logistics due to COVID concerning the delivery of items was challenging, but the core Furnishr team adapted well -accommodating the local delivery service.

Agree with the last reviewer. Took about an extra month to get everything. Very poor communication for that month. I had to constantly reach out. Day of second delivery, missed the delivery window of three hours by an hour... dropped off chairs for backyard, left in boxes, didn’t pick up wrong colored chairs, so now have 6 extra chairs of the wrong color, dropped off legs for table that were missing and then left... paid for everything to be assembled and ready to go... service is 70% of what they say it is. Michael and Karen might need to rethink business model here.

Took them almost a month to get all my furniture to me. Still waiting on one piece of furniture now. This was the most painful experience ever, I'm sure Covid-19 could be a factor but this was ridiculous and I'll never use them again. I could be the one random person where things didn't go as planned so take this review with a grain of salt.

Furnishr was such a great service to use when I moved into my first apartment. The furniture package was such a good deal, and they assembled everything for me. They even texted me to let me know they were on the way. I highly suggest using them if you need furniture.
