United Kingdom | 05 January 2024We bought an expensive heat pump pool heater a year or so ago now we have no issues with it but I emailed them about some settings and 3 emails later I have had no response at all, I guess they have our money and no now longer what to help, I was thinking of getting a smaller one for our hot tub but I will purchase one from a company with with at least some customer service

United Kingdom | 22 July 2023I tried to place an order for a product which was £150 cheaper than its nearest rival of the exact same product. I could not get the online booking form to go beyond adding my name and address. I emailed the company and received an "address not found". I called the number and received a message saying that phone opening hours are only available from 9.30 to 10.30. I've no idea how a company can successfully operate on one hour a day! So overall I'm totally underwhelmed by Splash and Relax. If price is too good to be true there's usually something dodgy going on. As a result I will be placing my order elsewhere. Having read some of the other rather negative reviews on here I think I've had a lucky escape!

Bought a pool with 3/5 day delivery, 2 weeks later after contacting them via email was told stock is unavailable and a refund has been issued, over 2 later still no refund. All emails are being ignored and apparently reduced phone hrs 9am till 1030am where you can't speak to anyone and phone just cuts off!!!

Chased again at end of day. Dealing with companies like this is hard work. Will give them till end of next working day and then ask CC company to start a charge back.

After being let down by 2 companies for the pool that I wanted - splash and relax were so helpful when I was in a panic to get the pool before hot weather as had left plenty of time and ordered weeks ago from other companies who let me down. I ordered the pool and then read reviews to much dread that a 3rd time things were going to go wrong with yet another company!!! This was not the case they over delivered on their service - I received the pool within 2 days and it’s exactly what it should be. All correspondence with them was professional and polite. Can’t fault them.

United Kingdom | 15 July 2022I would not recommend this company. I ordered a pool and received confirmation that it was being delivered on the 12th July 2022. It did not arrive and it appears that the courier DX have not received my product. Splash and relax have said they have proof that DX have received it and are investigating it further. This could take another 5 days which is unacceptable to me as we wanted the pool for the nice weather not for the winter! I understand that there can be problems with a courier but on reading other reviews this seems to be a trend!! I cancelled my order and there was no apology, no offer of sending another pool using a different courier, just an “ok” it will take approximately 5 days to issue the refund!! Shocking customer service! They were more focused on blaming the courier company rather than sorting the issue out for me as the customer! Splash and Relax you should always remove the customer from any issue you have with a courier and resolve the issue for them, not expect the customer to wait for their product whilst you and the courier investigate! All you had to do was send another pool and sort out any issues with the courier in the background!!

United Kingdom | 21 June 2022If I could get 0 star I would I orderd a pool on the 14th June for next day delivery got text say be with Mr on the 16th between 9 and 11 waited no show so contacted dx to see what's happening to be told plash n relax didnt send my item that's why no delivery so contacted splash and relax to be told yes definitely sent where find out n phone you back by end day no call so I made call back to splash and relax to be told sumone still trying find it in mean time dx delivery said there found it but won't deliver for 8 day which to late as wanted it for the heat wave so told then cancel which they said sumone phone me bk to do Monday morning still no call but text from dx delivery your item be delivered today great waited no delivery this time said can't find my item so back to splash and relax yes been lot off orderd gone missing sumone call you this morning no call got to 4.30 I called qgain this time the person dealing with it is in meeting be out with in 1 hr its 6.40 still no call customer service is non existing so off to back to get refund stay away from these cowboys if I was you wish I seen reviews 1st I would have never orderd and yes it ruined my daughter 13th birthday party no pool

United Kingdom | 12 August 2021I ordered a paddling pool and had to cancel within an hour of ordering due to a mistake in the order. I emailed as per the instructions to cancel, having never actually received order confirmation. I chased this up several times throughout the day and on the next morning was advised it was too late to cancel the pool as it had been dispatched! I was then told not to decline delivery as I would incur excessive return charges. As it so happens I wasnt here when delivery took place so couldn't refuse. I therefore decided to return the item when it arrived. I emailed for return instructions and no one responded. I tried to log into the account I had created with themselves when ordering in the first place only to find that the account had been closed down! No responses to emails asking for a returns address etc, therefore have no way of returning this item. I would NEVER order from this company again the customer services is appalling. Please be aware and do not order from this company unless you want to risk losing your money, poor customer service and from reviews which I wish I had read before, totally disgusting attitude towards their customers.

United Kingdom | 02 August 2021I purchased a Paddleboard from Splash & Relax. It arrived very promptly within a couple of days. However, it was not the Paddleboard that I ordered as it was totally a different colour. I emailed to let Splash & Relax know and that I wanted to return it as it was not the Paddleboard I purchased. The reply I received: "The manufacturers and ourselves reserve the right to amend/update/improve the products at any time, which may not be fully reflected in the product details, descriptions and images at a given point in time“ So basically a get out of anything clause. I was told that I needed to arrange and pay for return postage which totalled £17.70. I’m just sending it back, very disappointed and unimpressed. I wished I had read the other negative reviews sooner. AVOID Splash & Rip you Off !!!

Ordered a 11ft 6” steel framed pool over the phone with them back In February 2021 I had to pay the amount in full before they would take my order which I regretted. I was assured the delivery would be with me by March. By mid March had not heard from spash and relax so I made contact with them to be told there was a delay as it was coming from Spain. After false promises and excuses this went on for wks. Now Unable to get a response by phone or email. The delivery company DX would send me at short notice to say it was being delivered with a two hour slot and would have to be in to receive it, this never happened. This went on for wks with delivery dates and times which with no surprise never happened. Calling splash and relax to be told it is with the delivery company and gave me a tracking number which would never locate where my pool was. I e mailed spash and relax raising all my concerns with them and requested a full refund to date I’ve never heard or received a refund from them. I’m now claiming back through my card issuer. If I’d only looked at the poor reviews about this company I’d never placed the order. And by reviewing them all are very similar to my issues I’ve experienced from spash and relax. This company should not be trading!!

United Kingdom | 26 July 2021Pre ordered pool in April, told it would be delivered 1st July - fair enough. Then I received a text from courier company on 15th July saying that my order will be delivered next day. Next day comes, I received another text saying that they would have to reschedule, with no further date given to me. I email Splash and Relax (as that's the only means of communication) and they just say that they will contact couriers to "search their depot". No other communication received. Now their website is showing that my item is out of stock, so as of today not sure if I will receive my pool or not! Good job I paid via credit card, as I can apply for a refund if it doesn't arrive! Will update, and change star rating, should I receive my pool! Update...just been told that they can't find my order, and that they will now be refunding me. Very frustrating and poor, after a wait of almost 3 months. I have now ordered same product direct from manufacturer. I know mistakes and delays can happen, but the customer service is not great...hardly any updates and just been kept waiting hoping for the best.

I read the reviews and assumed it wouldn't arrive and i'd be making a claim on paypal but it was despatched on the Monday and was delivered on the Thursday. Communication was brilliant and a 2 hr delivery slot was provided and updated during the delivery day. Fantastic value and overall a brilliant experience. Don't believe all the reviews you read

By the end of June no sign of the pool so after chasing they tell me no later than mid July. Now a further email saying beginning of August. Am going to request a refund ASAP - just don't understand the point in operating like this. Surly they can't be making money?
