Got a hot soup and bread roll for lunch from the local store. Started having the soup and opened the bread roll to see it covered in fungus. I don’t mean a small spot but the whole roll had large spots of green fungus. Took it back to the store (only a five minute walk from my office) and the woman (who didn’t serve me) said “that’s not ours!” I was livid, it was in the original paper bag they gave me and I was only in the store 30 minutes prior, luckily the woman who did serve me came to the front and confirmed that I bought the items from the store. Was given a refund and no apology. Absolutely disgusted with the quality of the food and the service! How does one miss big spores of fungus?

Amanda and the team at leigh helped me with ordering a 60th birthday cake, and other savoury items Amanda was very helpful and efficient which made it easier for me. I had to postpone the cake for a week due to illness Amanda sorted this and was understanding, great team. The cake was beautiful exactly what we asked for and more would definitely recommend

It's my friends 60th Birthday and he loves pies and beer. Greenhalghs do the best pies around. Easy website to use, quick delivery and fantastic communication. My friend loved it.

We ordered 2 catering pies and they were delicious. Paid for before noon delivery and they were delivered at 8.15 am. Fantastic service !

To be honest I wouldn't give Greenhalghs multi portion pies any stars at all. The pies were definitely not as shown on your website.The steak was minced meat and very runny.The cheese filling wasn't even thick enough to be called cheese sauce never mind pie.The Lancashire one was also very sloppy. The pies were bought to take for a family gathering .I was so embarrassed to serve them.They had to be eaten with a spoon. After attempting to eat them I had to put most in the bin which annoyed me as I hate waste. Altogether an embarrassing experience.

I once went to see Coldplay perform at the Bolton Wanderers football stadium. The catering included Lancashire individual pies! I was hooked immediately. Now I have found a supplier that makes an identical item and they are absolutely lovely ❤️! They arrived individually wrapped and in an insulated bag inside the box. All arrived in perfect condition and I'll soon be ordering more... 👍👍🙂

Very tasty and delivered on time

On Deliveroo and Uber but they just cancel your order most of the time! It’s really pointless and frustrating when you’ve wasted your time, especially when you’re stuck in the house poorly.

I am disgusted in the prices. The meat and potatoes pie was very hard. The pasty had no flavour in the pastery it was vegetarian and we didn’t know.

Good quality pies but not packaged well as a couple of pies were squashed

As someone living in the Midlands but who originates from the North West of England, I was delighted to discover Greenhalgh's provided a mail order service. Easy to use website with excellent choice of products. The items are delivered on a specified day, and the packing is secure and uses ice blocks to keep the food cool and fresh. Highly recommended.

We were very pleased with our order. We grew up in Manchester and moved away in 1966 and always enjoyed potato and meat pies. We gave up of finding a bakery that made them and will certainly order more. The other items were also delicious.

Hi everyone!. I bought the cake for my mum's 60th birthday last weekend, it went down well with a lot of people at the party, one best cakes that we've ever had and still some left over.
