I was disappointed with the sell by dates. I collected the order on the Saturday and the food was up by the Monday. Also the sausage roll had been cooked. On past orders the pies and sausage rolls hadn't been cooked. The vanilla cream cake was delicious though.

The quality of the food is great. I would also strongly recommend the low carb range to anyone with problems with carbs as it tastes like real food. We had a minor issue with the delivery but this was resolved quickly and to our satisfaction.

Very happy with this cake bought for my Mum's 90th birthday, many positive comments were received. It was there on time for me to collect and with a little cling film it stayed fresh enough for nearly a week. The cake was more beautiful and taller than it looked in the photos. Will definitely use Greenhalghs again.

Birthday cake for my husband’s 70th was beautiful just what I ordered chocolate sponge with chocolate cream and jam. It was delicious will definitely use you again.

greenhalghs is the worst bakery to get pastys, sausages rolls and pies from, they all taste disgusting (overpowering taste of onion in cheese and onion products, pastry tastes burnt, gritty meat) and there are much better and cheaper options. the biscuits and cakes are somewhat nice but you can't exactly go wrong with those. every time i try it again to make sure i didn't just get a bad batch it's the same.

Called in for pie and sandwich, only seen one member of staff a young girl, she looked like she hated everyone, no smile didn't speak, I asked for a pie and sandwich, asked for hot pie and I got a only just warm, almost like she couldn't be bothered to wait for the pie to get hot, the sandwich not that great, if that girl made the sandwich then that's why it was rubbish, employ young kiddies with a chip on its shoulder is not good for business, never use that shop again

The pies are excellent so it was great news I could have them delivered to London. Website purchase worked fine, as did delivery. 10/10

The whist pies were far to salty and I didn't like the jelly in them. I had some from Mo's bakery in Bolton at a wake and they were delicious. Yours didn't taste or look anything like Mo's bakery ones. The pasties however were mice

The Lancashire pasty was a huge disappointment. Picture on order site showed defined elements of filling,meat,potato,peas carrot.Have previously bought and product was as promised. This time the filling of the Lancashire pasty was a brown mush.So very below expected standard. I emailed my complaint to office and received a reply regretting the failure and they would be passing it on the bakery. Communication was good .I appreciated that and thanked them.However that Pasty was below standard. My order was for several other pies and pasties They are in my freezer .I really hope my confidence in Greenalghs pies will be justified. I do hope that it was a one off.

I really like their low carb bread and order regularly but this last time I ordered four 400g loaves and I had two 700g loaves delivered, no explanation and of course 200g less than I ordered and paid for. I emailed them and to be fair got a reply and a £4 voucher but still no explanation as to what had happened. Maybe they should have sent me an email with the dispatch notice just to say that they were out of the smaller loaves if that was the case and to offer a voucher then, not really good practice to not inform me. Anyway, this is the first time I’ve had a problem and I won’t stop ordering from them because the bread is the best tasting low carb bread I’ve had. Hopefully this was just a blip.

Decent sized sub rolls were delicious. I still have one packet in the freezer. I primarily bought from Greenhalgh's for those rolls, exactly what I was looking for. The other items were extras, loved the pork pie, haven't used the other items yet. Very good quality.
