Quick service and quality goods as always

Made my first order from here to get a couple of small gifts. The box was left on my doorstep, opened, half the inside packaging to protect the goods was missing and some of the contents were broken. Unsure if poorly packed or opened by the courier but no response from Fennel & Ginger customer services either way.

I ordered six packets of these sauces two months ago. After adding the first to my meal and tasting it was sour I decided to check the others. I opened the second and smelling it alone made me sick. Looking at the other four packets you can see what can only be described as white flakes in the sauce which itself is yellower than should be and obviously have been left out in the sun/manufacturing issue. I contacted the company for help and requested a refund or replacement which they say they couldn’t do until they had completed their ‘investigation’. After their investigation was complete they suggested it was a personal taste issue and that they couldn’t refund me however I could return the last 3 unopened sauces for a refund. Thankfully I’ve held onto them in case of this but they refuse to refund me for the other 3 sauces which had to be thrown in the bin. I’ve had these sauces before from elsewhere so their suggestion that it was a ‘personal taste’ issue is ridiculous and unprofessional. I am appalled by their customer service and will not buy from here again. Two months of waiting and £30 down the drain.

I recently purchased a jar of Welsh honey butter, I also purchased a love food hate waste box. Delivery was quick and my products were packaged in recyclable materials (big thumbs up from me) The Welsh honey butter was delicious especially on waffles or toast. The products I received in the love food hate waste box were good value and a pleasant surprise. A very good experience, will be ordering again.
