We noticed a deterioration of customer service during the pandemic which still exists but appreciate this is not unique to Pendragon and due in part to the garage networks used also facing challenges at this time. Our Customer Relationship Manager, Christine Chauhan, provides brilliant support and is always vigilant in sorting any issues escalated to her.

A huge shout out to David for processing my claim, even though my full car details wasn't on the system yet. He went above and beyond in helping to get the issues resolved. I paid for the faults to be done, and I got refunded the amounts very quickly. Thank you David.

United Kingdom | 25 August 2022I rated my mot service 3 because of the problem with the service I asked the engineer to check the air conditioner because it wasn’t working properly it turned out that the condenser was faulty damaged I don’t know how it was damaged or where it was on the car It wasn’t repaired or replaced and I was told that it wasn’t done because it wasn’t financed by motability to repair it

United Kingdom | 20 August 2022A big thank-you to Louise Briggs at Pendragon, who helped resolve an issue over a broken BMW amplifier, which we thought was covered by our two-year mechanical and electrical warranty, but which BMW Stratstone and Kia Evans Halshaw, with whom we took out the warranty, didn't. Thanks to her, the BMW is now booked in to have the amplifier repaired.

United Kingdom | 11 August 2022Big, big thank you to Paul Duffin at Pendragon who promptly sorted out our warranty appeal for a new engine under our extended warranty claim. We had come to a bit of a dead end with our dealer Evans Halshaw Citroen Darlington, who weren't able to progress the appeal in a positive way. We contacted Pendragon directly via the telephone and within a few hours of first contact with Louise, she had esculated our claim to management, Paul Duffin. Paul, as promised rang us back to give us an update. Thankfully that update was great news. He was extremely helpful and showed genuine empathy to our situation. Thankfully he agreed to fully cover the costs under the warranty for an engine replacement. This has been a stressful process due to the potential high costs involved,until Paul took ownership and honoured the repair under the warranty. This has been such relief and I can't thank Paul enough for his prompt and fair resolution to our claim. Keep up the good work.

United Kingdom | 10 August 2022We took out an extended three year warranty when we purchased our car last year. All seemed fine, but now we need to contact them no one will answer the phone. We have been given two different numbers, over the past two days we have rang them a combined 55 times and no one answers. All we want is an answer to our questions. We’ve tried calling them from 8.30am until 5.30pm with no response. Wish we never paid for the extended warranty.

Relationships between Evans Halshaw and their Transport Agent seem to have broken down during a very stressful time when we were trying to deliver 100 new vans to different addresses around the UK. Sue has been the ultimate professional and at all times been courteous and calm when both of us have felt like screaming at the inaptitude of third parties. Sue is a credit to Pendragon Vehicle Management.

United Kingdom | 04 February 2022Keep sending me invoices 6 months after the vehicle was collected. One minute it’s for the vehicle collection which was not in the contract, the next it’s for a chip in the windscreen that I had already had repaired before collection and sent them proof of repair. Absolutely disgusted. Never had any issues leasing through other companies. Avoid like the plague!!! It’s a shame as the broker (Evans Halshaw) have been brilliant and have been trying to help me resolve this, but I will never deal with Pendragon again after this. The car was immaculate and they would of made money on it, so why they are trying to bully money out of good customers is beyond me.

United Kingdom | 23 October 2021I purchased a Citroen C4 Cactus from a private party from Auto Trader which had been purchased from Evan Halshaw. What attracted me to his listing was the remaining warranty. I did my due diligence on the car (based on what was available online) and purchased it. The seller was great, contacted the warranty in order to transfer it and he was informed that due to COVID it was taking longer than usual. Services were current and we were on the way to a garage for an oil change when suddenly the vehicle collapsed. The wheel came off with the suspension and axle attached to it without any warning or previous noises. No pothole was hit as there was none on the way. We were blessed that it happened on a low traffic and low speed road, but she was driving on the motorway a few minutes before and according to the mechanic that helped us if it had happened on the motorway, it could have been fatal. I contacted Pendragon and Evan Halshaw and ping-pong started. No one wants to take responsibility and throw it at each other. I received different reasons as to why the claim had been rejected then suddenly they say that the info I provided shed a nee light on it and they wanted to proceed with it. Next day they stopped answering my emails. The number just rings and I was told that I have to keep trying until someone does. Horrible, disrespectful, disgusting and borderline criminal behaviour. Apparently they are trying to see if I just let it go, but I WILL NOT. DO NOT BUY FROM EVAN HALSHAW OR PENDRAGON. UPDATE: 3 MONTHS have passed and no signs of any resolution or response. Next course of action is being taken. UPDATE: 1 year has passed and no sign of a resolution. Just filed a lawsuit.

United Kingdom | 16 September 2021If you are handing any lease vehicles back ensure you hire your own independent inspection to take place at the same time the car is being collected , you will be billed for items that were not damaged on return and be told it’s your word against there’s and that the invoice still stands to be paid. DISHONEST COMPANY Thank you Sarah, yes they have and nothing has been resolved. It’s basically my word against yours and that your right and there is nothing I can do about it. I have asked three times now for proof of respray of the car and I’m still awaiting a response. I have also asked for a three way conference call with the guy that collected the car and yourselves which I was told would be looked into but very unlikely and still awaiting an update on this. Not sure why this wouldn’t be possible. I don’t expect there to be a positive outcome after other reviews I have read, but this has taught me a very big lesson and that is to ensure I have my own independent collections report to be carried out at the same time. In all the years I have leased I have never had an issue with handing cars back until now abs this has put me off of leasing a car in future! An invoice of over £1000 to be paid on some items that are made up is dishonest and awful! I am still awaiting a response of my last four emails so no this has not been resolved as of yet.
