We had a work team event playing rounders on one of the pitches last night and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! It was great fun and our coordinator was organised and professional but also made it a good laugh. The communication prior to the event with Jay was excellent and I would definitely recommend :-)

Avoid!!!!! I rented a pitch from these for months came to my last game and no one turned up to the pitch to unlock the gates. Turns out it was admin error! My players all had to go home after travelling some distance.. hire a pitch lack communication or customer service quick enough taking hire fees. Promised me and my players a refund within 24 hours then changed it to 10 days! So guys avoid….. The reply below from hireapitch is a lie they offered me 1 game refund which I have as an email! More lies and tripe to try and get out of how poor your service and lack of customer service….

We've just held a company Sports Day with Hireapitch. Everyone, across the board, really enjoyed the day, it was so much fun and the whole thing ran so smoothly with them in charge. Absolutely brilliant - we may well be back next year!

Hosted a football tournament with Hireapitch to raise money for our charity and would definitely use this service again. Hireapitch made the process so easy and straightforward. We hired two pitches and two refs and the event was seamless from start to finish. Exceptional customer service from Luke, who answered lots of frantic emails/messages from me in a timely manner.

We booked a rounders pitch for a corporate social and just want to say a massive thank you to the whole team! The booking process was really easy and our umpire Mo made the evening great fun for everyone! Really reccommend and will definitely use Hireapitch again.

Only giving one star because 0 stars isnt an option. Do not give your money to these crooks, they will take it and then not give you the pitch you requested or give your money back. I wish I had read reviews before sending any money over and cannot believe they are offering free rental for good reviews. How can anybody be having a good experience with these guys is beyond me.

The customer team is not the great.Responses are really bad and they not willing to help. I’ve booked a pitch and I was trying to explain to their customer team that due to Covid cases we had in our team we couldn’t make it on that day and we would like to arrange for a future day. We didn’t ask for refund we just wanted to arrange the game for another day as we couldn’t make due to the above. Their customer team was really unhelpful and didn’t want to help us out, they just responded to us we can’t make that because you already booked a pitch and we can’t find anyone else to come at this time.The result of this was that I lost the amount of the money I paid them and they didn’t bothered at all to help me sort it out. I am really unhappy as I have booked a quite few times with them but I am not going to do it anymore. Please reconsider your customer service team and the way you respond to people that are giving you money. -Hi there, Thanks for your response. I will not take down the review as your response is really unprofessional. I haven’t asked for refund I just wanted to rebook the pitch at another date. In regards to you saying that we could find more players unfortunately we couldn’t find more players as all of us are working in the same office and 4 of our players got Covid.This is a team building activity. We received a very good service for the hall hire. Communication was brilliant and got the needed assistance on time. We will be happy to use your services again.

Very happy with the company since they took over the school that I have block bookings. Quick reply, very nice staff, and well look after existing clients. I am happy to do more bookings with them. Just a suggestion, that I have a lot of bookings with other letting agents and they normally invoice monthly and never charge any direct debit fee, also accept shorter cancellation notice, maybe this is something you can look into, to help clients with cash flow, thus provide even better service.

They do not honour their block bookings and the refund policy is very shifty. They cancelled our booking with a weeks notice despite us having another few weeks left which we had pre-paid for, and there is no sign of a refund weeks later. It’s all fine until you actually have to deal with them; the customer service is extremely rude and demonstrates a clear lack of care for their paying customers. Just see the recent Sky News article about them and their appalling customer service which says it all. I will never be using this unethical service again.

So bad they made national news (search Sky News Hire a Pitch) Regardless of their lack of honouring contracts and prioritising corporate/men's leagues, look no further than the replies to 1 star reviews to get an idea of the customer service. Petty, childish, dishonest, and unprofessional. Great organisation of the leagues couldn’t have asked for better. Pitches are always top tier recommended it highly especially if you’re into Football.

You only need to read any of Hireapitch’s responses to bad reviews on this platform to understand how they will deal with you as a customer. I have never encountered a business so unprofessional. They are also bribing users of their facilities with 3 free football games if they leave a 5 star review - might want to look into that one Trust Pilot! Stay away at all costs - this company only cares about money, not about its customers!
