I bought 4 large Vego bins in March 2022 and assembled them in May. I live in Florida, so October starts our growing season in earnest. Two of the bins had soil about 2/3's of the way up. Then, hurricane Ian hit at the end of Sept. The contents of my home were blown into the backyard, where the bins are, by 7 feet of water. A large Mango tree dented one soil filled bin. My mother's coffee table landed in one of the containers. 3/4 did amazingly well with one minor fender bender of damage. Despite secure placement, many screws were knocked loose. One container had quite a bit of damage (No soil in it so bounced around quite a bit), but repairable with new spline, nuts/bolts and brackets. Phase one revealed a quality, sturdy product. Phase two was customer service. I didn't do anything for months as it took that long to get through the house debris and access the bins properly to assess damage. I called the company and ordered. It took two more tries to get things sent. I'm not sure what the issue was. It wasn't a big deal, but they like constructive feedback and after a hurricane, one doesn't have a lot of energy left over for chasing customer service. But all three needed components have been received. Staff was very pleasant and understanding. There may have been some address confusion as I am not living at the address where the bins are and were sent originally. Anyhoo, I have also bought a fifth bin because they are just what I need for veggie gardening. Awesome, well made product. Very happy to have received repair bits at no charge (I offered to pay). I highly recommend this product and company.

I would have given the product five stars, but the instructions don't mention until step 7 that there were different width panels and to take care in assembling them according to which configuration you wish to build, so that required taking some pieces apart and reattaching. It would be great to add this info to the very start of the directions.

I ordered the cover system which came with the mister irrigation system. The cover seems to be a well made, hardy mesh and it fits snugly on my Vego garden. On the one hand, I enjoy how it protects my vegetables from deer and I can mow around my garden easily. On the other hand, I have wondered whether the cover, which stays shut most of the time, has hindered pollenization of my flowering vegetables, so I try to open it up when I can. I wish the top could be opened, thereby allowing pollenizers in and still keeping deer out. As to the mister system, it should be an optional add-on for those who need it. It is more trouble to hook up my hose to it than to simply water my vegetables with the nozzle on the hose.
