Love the raised beds. Takes some time to assemble but not difficult. Only complaint is the packaging for shipping. Though I recognize the value of not creating a lot of waste from packaging, packaging was inadequate. Many panels arrived bent and though they can be bent back into place as your faq section notes, it doesn’t work that well and uneven joints makes it hard to put the rubber/plastic edging on the top rim. Also several cross support rods were bent, some were missing and others were sticking out of the boxes on arrival Fortunately I didn’t need all of them. You can’t place it all on FedEx as you do in your FAQs and would do well to come up with a better way. That said, I will be ordering more as I expand my veg garden.

I m love Vego Garden. I garden in the high desert. I have sand not soil. I also have a million rodents. I have 2 - 32 in 10 in 1s and 4 - 4 in ones. I can’t wait for my garden to fill in!!! I have had the large Vegos for a year and they were perfect last year. This yr I accidentally ordered green and was going to return them. Customer service was wonderful when I asked to process a return. So I decided to keep them! Thanks!!

Did a lot of research on metal planters before deciding on Vego. Liked the food safety of materials used and the promise of a long lasting, well built planter. Years ago we had a full acre garden. We have downsized to six raised cedar planters. We needed something to fit and look good along a south facing solid brick wall. Raised cedar planters on legs would not give the look we wanted. Found Vego planters in perfect sizes needed and they offered a charcoal color, which compliments the brick. Bought a 9 in 1 unit to fit an 8' x 2' space and two 4' x 2' to fill in the remaining area. First unit was delivered in perfect condition. About a month later the other two arrived. Have not unpacked those; will do so Memorial Day weekend. Assembly was easy. I'm a 67 year old lady and had no problem putting this together by myself. Decided to assemble this on patio as that gave space to move around. Assembly on site is best, but would have been tight due to emerging perennials. Placed an old sheet on the patio to protect the unit's finish. After assembly, men friends moved it into place for me. If my friends had not been available, I would have definitely assembled the unit on site as the 9 in 1 model is large and weighty. Filled the planter in layers: cardboard on bottom, seasoned hardwood, then punky smaller logs, branches, some mulch, clean topsoil and lastly quality garden soil. Neighbors were happy to have me gather the old wood from their yards. We live in Michigan, so experienced gardeners don't plant tender veggies until after Memorial Day. Eager to get tomatoes, peppers and cukes in. These units look great along the brick wall and are good depth for the veggies. Our Garter snakes are also enjoying the planters as basking sites. May 25, 2023 update I built 3/4" PVC pipe covers for the planters. PVC frames are covered in 1/2" chicken wire. Although Vego offers a nice cover, it would not hold up to the barage of animals around the garden. I constructed these PVC frames with strong chicken wire as we needed heavy duty protection. City neighbors moving out here let their cats run loose and do not care about the damages their cats cause. Cats want to use our garden as their toilet. The chicken wire frames keep cats and their diseased feces/urine out of our food. We also need to discourage the deer and raccoons from raiding the vegetables. If you have a lot of animals wandering through your garden area, I highly recommend a tough cover to protect your veggies. Vego, if in the future you offer sturdy wire enclosures to fit your planters, I would definitely splurge and purchase!

This is one of the easiest raised bed systems I have ever used. It took me about an hour to assemble, then a couple of hours to fill up with different soils. I will be adding new plants to it this weekend.

It was such an easy assembly, easy to fill and easy to grow my plants. It’s a beautiful addition to my garden and I get comments on it all the time. Such good quality and I would recommend over and over again!

They look to be nicely made and were easy to put together. I'm doing 2.5 x 9.5 and 4 x 8 configurations. Time will tell how they hold up once they're filled with soil.

Great product, easy to assembly and excellent customer service

My beds arrived before I expected them. They were very simple to assemble by myself. I did need help with about 3 bottom bolts and the bottom supports as I’m only 5’3” and my dexterous ability and reach is limited for that big a stretch. I imagine on a shorter bed I would have been able to do it all alone. I got the sage green, it’s a beautiful shade of green, and they almost blend into our wild backyard area.
