They were easy to work with but they literally take advantage or people with poor credit and create a trap with their interest rates. There is no reason they have to charge the rates they do, it’s a choice to be greedy to harm those who are already in a desperate situation. You can charge a high interest rate without setting people up for failure and still make a profit. What they charge is disgusting and really should be illegal and considered profiteering. The fact that it isn’t illegal says something about state legislatures as well. I’d be curious to know how much they contribute to campaigns and lobby’s to keep their interest rates as high as they are.

It was quick and easy to get my loan from Cash America. They were very helpful, friendly and offered a loan without a lot of hassle....they came through for me when other loan companies wouldn't. They are awesome !!!

Stay away from places like this. The interest rates are way too high and you will be paying way more than you borrowed. When I went to pay off my loan early they kept saying they could only on certain days and when we scheduled for that day it never came out. Took me 3 calls at at least 15 minutes a piece to finally get this paid. Customer service was terrible as well. 1st two times I called were never recorded by them which made the experience even worse. Don't use these companies if you can avoid it. Borrow the money from anyone else.

The interest is to high it's not worth getting a loan it's not convenient it puts a person of need deeper in dept I will never recommend no one to get a loan at cashamericatoday the break down to payments does not make any sense I got a 400 dollar loan and my total payments would have been 1400 ridiculous and crazy

Okay this started on a Friday. I'm on the phone with a representative, all of a sudden, the phone hangs up! I checked the time. It was closing time, so she just hangs the phone up because it time to get off??!! Okay Monday comes, get off work and I contact them. On the phone with my Bank 3-way for verification. Get down to the very end, She asks my bank representative about my ''direct deposit'' (payroll) WTH! I don't have my BANK Tied to my payroll debit card!!!!! Sorry sir we can't complete your request..... Why didn't she ask this, in the very FIRST place???? Just pure ridiculous!!!!

I was really in need for money for emergency so I applied at Cash America. It was on a Saturday when I applied and was approved for 1,000 and then when I called today the customer service rep told me I was only approved for 400 but they could do 500 for me. At this point I have been waiting all weekend since I was approved so I would take what I could to pay towards my rent. We went to verify my bank.. Which I was a little skeptical about in the first place but I needed the money so I did it. The verification process was a success on the bank link but then she comes back to tell me I was denied. Why would you tell people they are approved for a loan when they are not? I feel like they got my information and then just denied me. This companies advertising is not legit!! They should never tell someone they are approved unless it’s certain!! I could see pre-approved but not approved with the breakdown of your loan and payments and all! Unbelievable!
