I had Tan as a driving instructor, he is amazing at his job and very professional. The atmosphere was so relaxed and never felt stressed or nervous with Tan. I would 110% recommend using Tan and a1 driving school. I passed my test with only a hand full of lessons. I passed with one minor. I dont think I would of done as good as I did with anyone else. Brillant.

Had Mo as my driving instructor, came from a different driving school as I felt like I wasn’t progressing. Had my first lesson with him end of May and passed first time with only a few minors 3 months later. Would definitely recommend.

The journey to this success couldn’t have been reached without the help of my amazing instructor Tan. Passing first time with 3 minors is a dream come through. Thank you Tan for the support and the encouragement and creating a relaxed atmosphere to learn. I have used few instructors but I can say for sure that your time and dedication for the service you provide is outstanding. I am super happy I chanced on this driving school after I was totally disappointed by another instructor which made me nearly give up. I took lessons with a1 my instructor was haji akhtar. Took driving lessons from another instructor wasn't getting anywhere was spending alot and was told I will take over a year to pass but taking lessons with haji akhtar I learnt alot got more and more confident after each lesson booked my test and passed first time with 4 minors. I would highly recommend taking lessons with a1.

Passed first time with A1driving school with the help of my instructor Zaf couldn’t have done it without him. He gave me the time I needed and moved his schedule around to help in short notice. Learned all the skills needed to pass today first time. Anyone in need of lessons, come to A1driving school.

I had a driving refresher course with Haji, after not driving for a few years. My confidence and driving skills was greatly improved after just a few lessons with Haji. Really impressed with his conduct, professionalism and experience has a driving instructor. Would totally recommend A1 driving school, you will not be disappointed.

Pass today with A1driving school derby with only 1 minor fault. A very short notice given to Zaf but he helped me and moved his schedule around to fit me in with very short notice. Lessons was very detailed and structured well, result speaks for itself really. If your looking for lessons or looking to change your current instructor then this is the place to come.

Just passed my test with amazing Sonia from A1 driving school hands down the best instructor in Derby! I’ve had a bad experience previously but Sonia is patient, friendly and explains everything so well that you just can’t go wrong. Always on time and is very professional, when I made a mistake she would correct me calmly and made sure we worked on everything so I could pass my test. Always flexible when giving me lessons as I have a small child, I enjoyed my lessons very much Sonia is a great person May Allah bless her with all the happiness in the world In Sha Allah I couldn’t have done it without her, I recommend A1 driving school to everyone A1 is the best driving school in derby! Had a few driving instructors along my pass route, no one comes close to tanzeel. His teaching methods are the best I’ve received, has different methods for everything if you’re struggling with a particular subject area, he even has diagrams ready for you. If there’s a driving instructor of the year award, get him nominated!

Very good teaching method. Instructor sonia been really helpful throughout the whole learning process. Passing the test in the first attempt is a proof how good her method of teaching is. Learnt alot of new things n safe driving with her. Thank you A1 driving school.

I passed my driving test today with 4 minors. I would highly recommend students to go with A1 and would like to give a massive thank you to Mo, who taught me to drive.
