Highly recommend Psicon, we went down the Right to Choose route for my child. The ladies that did her assessment made her feel very comfortable. The waiting time was as they told us.

My son had an ADHD assessment through RTC, I would say very thorough questionnaires in the initial instance, the wait time for everything wasn't too long (compared to nhs). Communication massively poor. Very difficult to get hold of anyone on the phone, email responses are very slow. Assessment was just over an hour long, not face to face, over teams. Clinical provided a diagnosis of ADHD at the end. I asked about receiving a QB check in addition. Clinician didn't seem to know very much about them. Psicon stated that they don't *need* to do one of the clinician diagnoses. A private ADHD assessment at Psicon involves a QB check and our NHS trust dont accept diagnosis without one. I think one chat of just over an hour (in conjunction with questionnaires) is not sufficient to provide a life long diagnosis, and wanted the QB check done. Psicon are standing firm in their stance they don't need to. I feel we've had a cost-cutting, sub-standard assessment, that won't even be accepted by our NHS trust, so all in all, and complete waste of time.

We attended an online ADHD assessment with our 9 year old daughter. Our daughter responded very well to the Nurse who was warm and friendly. We received some great advice on how we can help our daughter further, as well as a diagnosis at the end of the call which the school has already begun to action with the necessary support. We’re very pleased with the service we have received so far from Psicon.

The service we have had from Psicon has been excellent from our point of view. Staff are friendly, professional, understanding and helpful. They offered a short period of time from phoning to offer part 1 (Face to face assessment) appointment - and the appointment went well with kind calm staff. Part 2 was online, the paediatrician we met with was very kind and caring, time was not an issue and our appointment very much over ran. She allowed us to ask questions, raise concerns and speak freely about difficulties our daughter has. She was able to conclude the assessment and gave us some useful advice and recommendations. I would recommend the use of Psicon completely. Thank you

We went privately for our daughter's ADHD assessment and despite her ASD/PDA traits, they were able to make us feel warm and welcome.

From start to finish Psicon have been fantastic with myself and my daughter. They have been professional, kept me up to date with timescales and always responded to my emails within a timely manner. From my referral to my daughter having a diagnosis it was just shy of 5 months, which is amazing compared to being on the nhs waiting list for months. The registered mental health nurse who did my daughter’s assessment was great. She was kind, understanding and made my daughter feel very relaxed.

Fantastic and understanding all The way through the process my only fault is you cannot get hold Of anyone through phone or email at the moment. I have asked for a cover letter to show my childs school they have a diagnosis however i got told to wait and this was over 3 weeks ok with the report not being done and waiting for up To 10 weeks this obviously doesnt help the parents/carers. I got Told a cover letter would be done of i asked but no one has told Me the email and when i emailed all full , when i rang o got tomd To Wait . Personally a cover letter should automatically be sent to parents/carers whilst we wait for the report

From referral via the GP Psicon and being added to the waiting list, the wait was far less than expected. Every stage of the assessment process was explained thoroughly in detail. I have been very impressed with their service.

They just want your money! They don’t care about clients and don’t listen to the wider network. They don’t follow their own policies and admit their wrong doing but cover it up. And when given a bad review, they aim their response at potential clients rather than actually care about how they have screwed families over and just taken their money.

Our experience so far on our 10 month journey via 'Right to Choose' has been a really positive one with Psicon. We have completed one diagnosis ( reports follow approx 8 weeks after) and are awaiting a second assessment which will follow soon. Every single person we have encountered along the way has been wonderful. Their Basingstoke centre was a lovely calm place to visit with my daughter. Communication for appointments is always 5 star too. Thank you to everyone as our journey continues.

We were referred to Psicon via the Right to Choose route after being on the CAHMS waiting list for over year. Psicon sent out questionnaires for us as parents to complete and a set also went to my son's school. They advised me when these questionnaires had been received and gave an estimated waiting time for the assessment. We were seen within 3 months for the face to face assessment and were happy with the diagnosis and level of service we received. All of the people I have interacted with from staff booking appointments to psychologists undertaking assessments have been professional and kind. My son's views were taken into account and he was included in each part of the process which I really value. Apart from the one face to face appointment, other appointments have been via zoom which avoided travel to Basingstoke. All in all this was a friendly and efficient service and one for which I am very grateful.
