Very quick wait time. Excellent communication prior to appointment. Thorough assessment. Personable and knowledgeable clinician. Disagreed with diagnosis as felt it hinged on one area which couldn't be discussed fully in front of child. Report conclusion was weak and lacked evidence for school to offer support

Well presented company. Made us feel welcome and always helpful on the phone. We chose this company through nhs right to chose and very happy we did. Everything was straight forward. My child was made to feel as at ease as they could be.

We have been fortunate enough to have used Psicons services for ADHD and ASD diagnosis for both of my children. The whole process has been a smooth process from referral to all communication and appointment dates to the final part of diagnosis. I would highly recommend Psicon to others

Psicon have been very good and giving us the right information regarding diagnosis, medication and therapy for our daughter. They are prompt and supportive.

We went through the right to choose process for our eldest daughter. The process was quick and efficient. Any questions we had were answered and we were particularly pleased that she was able to have a face to face assessment as many other providers only offer online. Every staff member we encountered from admin to assessor was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of exploring a diagnosis.

The process was very quick from the first referral to the teams call. The call was very simple to open and the appointment was perfect and done in which the child didn’t realise they were been assessed. Fantastic team

Very pleased with this company and they way they handled our issues. Very responsive to calls and emails. All of the people I spoke to were helpful and friendly. The doctor who assessed my daughter was excellent, made her feel relaxed, she was joking and laughing, getting her to draw things so we could speak to the doctor. Would highly recommend

I had two sons assessed for ADHD, one online and one in person. It was a comprehensive appointment and report afterwards. They were helpful and kind and I would definitely recommend.

We were referred to Psicon via the Right to Choose service, after waiting years for an appointment with the NHS. It took a while to get an appointment, but once we did everything moved really quickly. The staff were kind and knowledgeable at every stage, and I couldn't fault the process. Thank you Psicon!

We've had a terrible experience with Psicon & would definitely not recommend this company. It's not been worth the money or the stress. Our daughter's ADHD assessment was in July & we're still chasing a complaint made by us about the quality of the 1:1 assessment & report after paying £1200. We were told our daughter doesn't have ADHD, despite ticking all the boxes & were provided with a very badly written report filled with errors, exaggerations & fabrications, with very contradictory evidence to support the outcome. No recommendations for school or home were offered, which is advertised on their website. Psicon have being very willing to take money but not provide the service they advertise. We decided to spend the £1200 to get a prompt outcome prior to our daughter starting high school in September. If you're looking for a timely outcome, we wouldn't recommend this company. It's also worth being aware that Pscion, to this date, have not had 1 CQC inspection since 2019 (see CQC website), nor are they subscribed with ISCAS (Independent Sector Complaints Adjudication Service) which as we're finding out means, as a customer, you cannot go to a regular ombudsman to resolve issues. Investing a large sum of money with Psicon is a huge risk. If, like us, this is something you have saved your money to do, we would recommend looking into another company instead, as we really wouldn't want anyone to have to go through all this, when all you're after is some recommendations to help your child's everyday life. We've come away with not one useful thing. We followed the complaints procedure & was told no action would be taken so we escalated it & spoke to the Director of Nursing who agreed with our concerns & kindly offered to redo the assessment himself but after going away to find out all options open to us, we have had no feedback from Psicon, hence this review. We've been very lucky to have had the NHS assessment very recently & even though we're still awaiting the outcome, the company used were fantastic & we could see the incredible difference in quality - the way the clinician was so interactive & really engaged our daughter & had so many helpful suggestions for us, regardless of diagnosis, was a breath of freshair. There are lots of other companies out there, don't use Psicon. We might have well just given £1200 to a complete stranger as we've got absolutely nothing out of the assessment/report & have nothing to take away from this experience apart from a load of stress. They're really not worth it.

Zero ongoing support, They only want your money. We went to PISCON as they were used by Sussex NHS for another family member, so we thought they would be a good choice and would understand how the NHS system works. They take your money to complete the assessment (£1200), and then refuse to engage with your GP to transfer the Shared Care agreement so you have go back to them if you want the prescription your child needs. Our son was diagnosed with ADHD in Oct 23, and the medication has transformed his school life and education, however we are 14months down the line paying £83 a month to piscon to do the prescription with little likelihood of him getting seen by NHS or Piscon speaking to our GP. So addition to the initial payment (£1200), we have paid another £1100 in prescription fees and this is ongoing. Also extremely difficult to get someone to answer the phone ! Great way to make money. Would give them zero rating if I could. Would complain to NHS, but they have there own problems and piscon are making a fortune out of them as well.

We would really recommend psicon. We had a diagnosis for our daughter within 4 weeks of application process. So speedy and informative of process. The only reason I have given a 4 star instead of a 5 is because we were not given any leaflets or information at the appointment but we were sent support links 28 days later with the full report. Otherwise excellent!

We went through Right to choose and the whole process was simple, quick and thorough. Staff were polite and helpful and have explained everything as we went through the process.

Awful. Went to the trouble of filling out all of the forms as well as school, only to be told that my daughter does not meet the criteria. We have a huge family history of Autism and ADHD and all the evidence I gave clearly showed this. Not sure how she doesn't meet the criteria. Even I can clearly see it. They didn't even speak to her. Just a letter and then discharged.

Unfortunately they don’t follow their own policies and procedures, which they’ve admitted to. They take word of mouth over other professionals assessments and feedback, they don’t support separated parents or the wider family only listen to who is paying the bill rather than what actually best for the child. Follow complaints procedures but taking it further as no real outcome. Customer service is really bad. And the “professionals” are rude!

Awful!! So terrible, I can’t even put it in to words! Don’t care about clients just about money!
