Site easy to navigate. Wide range of choices & prices. Curiosity question - What is the difference between a tutor that charges $30/hr & one who charges $48/hr. Don't they teach the same topic i.e. Italian?

If it wasn't for Wyzant and my tutor Mike P. I would not be passing my statistics class right now. I can't explain how much he has taught me. I was scared to get a tutor online, but couldn't find an in-person tutor, I couldn't be happier. There are several tutors out here. Make sure to double-check their time zone is the same as yours. I would highly recommend Wyzant. They saved me from having to take statistics again. Thank you

Excellent tutoring. Clear communication as to time and payment. You can pick who you relate with more or who may know a certain subject better. Much better than live tutoring! Saves tome, gas and money.

This experience has been great for my college student. We have been able to find a very professional and helpful tutor, Robert, for Financial Accounting. The process is straightforward and easy to manage. We are very happy with our decision to use Wyzant.

Wyzant has been the best in obtaining a tutor for my daughter. When all others failed in every way, Wyzant came through for me, especially when I needed the services the most.

Overall the service is great, not sure why I have to pay a fee on top of the rates - seems better to be inclusive of the rate. If you’re spending large amounts of money with Wyzant you could consider a ‘credit’ or reward system for applying toward other sessions. I only receive those options when I send someone new, but consider rewarding the customer that accessed a new tutor/subject - there’s multiple ways to implement this, be innovative. Allow me to process the payments as I finish the session or bill for me if I do not pay within 24 hours. The site works out of the United States, but forces you to select a US location (problematic with time zones). If you do opt to record the video of the session - can you opt for an audio portion or a transcript option? Tons of ideas to build on the things you have going well. Thanks for asking!

Wyzant has been an excellent resource in finding a tutor. I am very appreciative and a huge advocater for them. I used them in undergrad to find a tutor and now in medical school I have found excellent and qualified tutors as well.

Honestly the platform works great but the incessant emails for ratings while I'm studying are beyond annoying. Rate the tutor, rate the platform the reminders to rate the tutor the reminders to rate the platform, just stop. You asked me right after the session was done so I did it then but then blasted me with all of these emails. Just please back off I have tests.
