One of the items I ordered was not in stock, but it didn't indicate that in the item description. When I was contacted via email to say it would be delayed, I agreed, even though it was a birthday gift and would arrive a week or more after the birthday, on one condition: that they would post the item directly to the giftee, as I would be on holiday. This was agreed. Holiday comes and goes, and it's nearly two weeks after the item was supposed to land, but I have heard nothing. Finally, I am told that it's delayed again, and I am offered 25% refund or the option to cancel for a full refund. Fair enough, so I went for the 25%. About two weeks later, the item arrived at my house rather than the person it was supposed to go to. Now it's sitting forlorn, a five-week belated gift that I need to organise. Not the biggest deal in the world but I found the whole thing to be less than ideal. Updated to add that the shop reached out to me and more than made up for the mixup. Truly above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again (but I might still check to make sure the item is in stock next time!) :)
