There is such a range in price, and as you move up the scale you want reassurance that you are buying from a good brand, but then all brands appear to have both great and awful reviews. I was looking at a sofa from a well known large brand, I liked the aesthetic, there was a range of reviews about quality and service. I nearly bought the sofa but was apprehensive at the high cost, long delivery times (12 to 16 weeks), mixed reviews. I then stumbled across an extremely similar sofa on Rubeza, half the price, looks just as nice if not nicer, and delivery time was.... 2 days. Sofa arrived, well packaged, 2 days later, no damage, looks great, very comfortable, every person who has come over has said they love it. Couldn't be happier. That was 6 months ago and so far no issues or concerns. I can't speak to potential customer service issues as I have not needed to reach out. Overall speaking purely on my own experience, it has been excellent. In short hedged my bets between costs, quality, delivery time and extremely happy so far. I never write reviews but thought I would seeing as I had such a tough time choosing. Hope that is helpful to others out there.

United Kingdom | 16 December 2021So impressed! After having a nightmare with long and many delays at another supplier, I was so impressed with Rubeza. The customer service is brilliant and so easy to reach.I ordered the Rubeza Piera Right Hand Facing Corner Sofa and what I got was beyond my expectations.The website images and colours are very close. It is also very comfortable! It’s exactly what I wanted. Firm enough that I know it will last a long time.. Can’t rate highly enough.I would definitely recommend.

United Kingdom | 15 December 2021I’m very disappointed with the service I have received from Rubeza as a professional company I’m not sure exactly on the standards set but I’m sure it is way below the service received. I had ordered a sofa in October to ensure the service/order went without any issues I had spoken to the receptionist requested if they can FaceTime me and also sent some pictures of the sofa. After receiving the pictures I called the store back and spoke to the same receptionist on the phone confirmed that the sofa will be delivered within 2 weeks if I place the order now and that it is the last sofa in store. Just to ensure the order went ahead without any issues I decide to place the order over the phone with the receptionist by giving out my bank details and paying the full amount something I rarely do. 2 weeks later I called up as I had not received updates and to be told the sofa I had ordered is no longer around and that it has been sold to someone else. I then asked why as the order was reserved for myself confirmed by the manger and receptionist no one had an explanation I then request to speak to the manager who refused to speak to me and decide to hide behind the phone and not understand/acknowledge my frustration nor received any apology from him till today. Sadly I was left with no other option but to wait a further 6 weeks as told. I was reassured by the receptionist that it would be delivered DEFINITELY late November as told by her manger ( phone call recorded ) I had then called again late November but was told by the same receptionist who denied mentioning that and that there is a delay and now will be delivered to the store end of November and shipped out to me first week of December. That didn’t happen as I was expecting my sofa for the weekend ending 5th December. Instead I got an email to say that it would be delivered on the 9th after seeing that I called up to try have it delivered before the 9th December to hopefully have this long frustrating wait come to an end and maybe as a goodwill gesture have me as priority delivery slot. I was told unfortunately no dates available before the 9th December and that I should expect it to arrive then. After having made arrangements to be indoors for the 9th December and taken the day off I receive a call given a new date unexpectedly which was the 14th December very disappointed I told the caller my email states the 9th not the 14th after going back and forth I agreed with the new date 14th December. I then received a email on the 12th December that my order will be delivered I was not given any notice, warning or received any email confirmation to see if that would be a suitable day to deliver. As a business owner myself I can’t believe the lack of communication/service I have received. I will definitely not be shopping here ever again, someone needs to take ownership of customer experience and communications by far the worst service I have ever received.

United Kingdom | 13 December 2021Ordered a Nubuck Leather Sofa with this company in November for December delivery. I then went back online to find that the sofa I ordered was now called Vegan leather. I was wondering how I had missed that fact because I had specifically searched for leather wanting a natural and long lasting fabric. My order showed nubuck leather but the internet said vegan leather which is basically pvc. I rang the company to ask what was going on? I spoke to a nice man and he said that they had confusion and that in Turkey Nubuck means vegan leather. I’m not quite sure how this confusion happened as if you type Nubuck into the internet it says it’s leather and nothing comes up saying vegan. At this point I had already emailed and asked for a sample. The man wanted me to wait for the sample but I’m now a few days for the delivery being due and still no sample has arrived- there has been plenty of time for this. I couldn’t understand why they hadn’t contacted the customers that had ordered the leather sofa to tell them about the fabric being listed wrong. I did suggest he contact any other customers before they become upset on delivery of the wrong product. The man offered me a free cushion- but the sofa already comes with some cushions and I didn’t want a cushion I wanted a leather sofa. So now right before Christmas I’m left having to cancel the order and not have the new sofa as planned. I guess this now could bring me luck as I can shop for a different one in the sale. Today I have rang for a refund which I’m told can take 3-5 days and they say they will send some kind of communication- I asked to specify by what means- an email should come to confirm. Let’s hope that does come through in the next 3-5 days as so far I haven’t been very reassured. I’m sure the company will be sad to receive a negative review but I just don’t feel like there has been much offer of anything in terms of finding a solution. However they do have an online chat box which answers questions via email and they do answer the phone so that’s two positives. Let’s also note that Rubeza choose to demand proof of purchase to validate this review right before Christmas - you get 3 days to send proof and most people would miss that at Christmas. Despite me speaking to the manager and letting them know I would place the experience on Trust Pilot,it’s like they are denying knowledge of the mess up and our communication. The mess up was in mislabelling the product which they tried to blame on not being English. A better company would respond to the review straight away rather than waiting for proof of purchase. I did ask that they contact anyone else who had ordered the sofa to discuss the fabric so I really hope that happened. For me it means I will now have a new wait of 10 weeks for a sofa elsewhere. But I do wish them well in the growing their company and hope that they can label accurately in the future.

United Kingdom | 08 December 202110/11/21 - Paid for a sofa on Rubeza website. 7/12/21 - Sofa was due for delivery, receive a text to say delivery not happening due to a van breakdown issue, then I receive a call and told the sofa I purchased doesn't exist. Offered alternative, which I accepted. I requested email confirmation that my new order was accepted - this has not been received. 8/12/21 - Still no email confirmation of new sofa order, starting to lose faith. Chased multiple times on live chat.

When bringing the sofas in the boxes in to our property the delivery drivers ripped a coat rack that was attached to our hallway wall out of the wall causing significant damage as well as breaking a fused glass art piece. Upon raising this with Rubeza their response was that their delivery driver had offered to repair it (which he did not) as he had the materials on his van!?! I pointed out that firstly I was hardly likely to let a delivery driver repair my wall that he had damaged in the first place as I would want a proper tradesman to do that job & that it seems improbable in the extreme that delivery drivers would have building materials (plaster etc) & the required tools in the van!?! Needless to say we will be exploring our options legally as I am not happy at all. After some initial back & forth by email Rubeza covered the costs for the damage.

United Kingdom | 04 July 2021The best ever (especially the delivery team). Originally ordered an orange sofa from Made.com but they postponed my delivery time for 6 months! Found an even more gorgeous one on Rubeza for £100 less with 2 week delivery. Arranging delivery was easy and the guys were AMAZING - carried the sofa up to my flat on the 3rd floor and persevered getting it though my very narrow corner hallway. Sofa is perfect. Can’t recommend enough.
