I'm not a young man anymore and I don't want to go through the many fundamentals of learning piano. I do have an understanding of music from 45 years of guitar. So I just want to say that HD Piano is the perfect fit. I've enjoyed my first year and I feel that it has been more than worth it. My time is limited but I still managed to learn quite a few songs. It has brought joy and enrichment to my life. Keep up the good work HD Piano

I’m not happy with the selection that’s available. There are very few song tutorials on R&B / soul. You seem to cater to mostly pop and rock. Would love to see more piano tutorials on Spinners, Frankie Beverly with Maze, Motown, Luther Vandros, etc….

Really amazing functionality! So many different ways to learn! As someone who plays piano by ear but never learned how to read music very well, this has been amazing for training my ear to hear the more complex, jazzy chords better. Now if only we could search / filter results by key! That addition would make this truly the ultimate resource for students and teachers alike!

good lessons but needs more of the underrated bands and songs, for example twenty one pilots. it would also be nice to have some songs like megalovania by toby fox and stuff like that.

Ther reason for the one star, is because on January of this year, I renewed my membership And was able get into the site after paying. I just tried going on their site, it won’t let, it’s asking me to pay another full year😱 I want to make it clear, I enjoy HD, I learned a few song that I like. This the only reason for one star, Hey HD, I need my access restored back to me. I have a screen shot of my cc that I used to pay you ( $208.62 1/23/25 )

I'm a regular customer and an experienced pianist. In general I'm very happy with the tutorials. Some points that I feel would enhance my experience: 1. I used to enjoy the ability to comment on tutorials. 2. I enjoy tutorials that take the learning beyond simply saying play A, B, C notes. This doesn't help from a memorising perspective and full songs become tedious to get through note by note. 3. Similar point with respect to rhythm and counting. Teaching it as "G comes in on beat 2-ee" is not particularly helpful in actually learning the overall rhythm and feel. 4. I'm not sure if some kind of transposition can be integrated, but that would really be just perfect! Given that many of us do like to sing along, bringing it into a comfortable key would be a gamechanger. Cheers!

If I was just rating the lessons then I would give the app 4 or 5 stars … I really enjoy this approach to learning songs. Unfortunately the new interface has totally ruined the experience of searching for new pieces to play. On an IPad it’s now incredibly difficult to search and scroll and quite often when you’ve found a piece it crashes when you try to select it. This is all very frustrating because there was nothing wrong with the old interface. I’m not sure how much testing it went through but it really feels like a big step backwards. I still love the video lessons so I’ll persevere as they are the main thing … but I really hope there are some improvements/fixes in the pipeline.

Just needs more fusion jazz music. Your teaching song method is fine.

Not enough classical and not enough really simple tunes for the total beginner

There is no app in Australia so are reliant on a stable internet connection.

Nice app but slow delivery of new songs and need a platform for recommendations (eg more Ennio Morricone). Thanks for the new addition of chord sheets! Well done overall!

Engaging tutorials for all levels of piano proficiency. Huge selection of songs from different eras, and different styles. I have very elementary piano skills. I’ve been surprised and pleased with how much I have been able to learn with the step-by-step guidance from the tutor and the helpful tools (looping, speed control, visual pedalling reference etc).

I’ve been subscribed to HD Piano for years and they’ve played a huge part in my development. Customer service is excellent - Stephanie is always responsive and supportive My only recommendation is to re-introduce melody versions as well as accompaniment of their lessons as I’ve always found these worth the subscription and helps to create more interesting covers

Your new website is slow and is not an improvement. I am disappointed with your efforts.

I found HDpiano on YouTube, and it was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to learn how to play my favorite songs on the piano without having to learn how to read sheet music first. (That part may come later.) There is a great variety of songs to play, from classics to rock and roll. It will take years and years for me to learn all my favorites. And I find the instructors and graphics to be first rate. You can see the notes you have to play ahead of time. HDpiano recently upgraded their website to make it look even better. However, I was disappointed that you could no longer pause and restart the video simply by touching anywhere on the screen. I emailed HDpiano with my complaint, and Stephanie responded immediately and said she would look into it. To my surprise, she emailed me a week later to let me know that they fixed the issue. Thank you!

Your system crashes quite often and just gets me the little spinny thing. You changed your format and now I can't get to play or pause button or forward backward till halfway through the song. Also very glitchy. Your change was very disappointing.
