I have visited Mr Hickley at spire Cheshire on a number of occasions recently and underwent cataract surgery to both eyes I have to say my eyes were in a very poor state and Mr Hickley has preformed a miracle so to speak as I now have my sight back which has changed my life His professionalism caring way is wonderful and I really felt at ease with every step of the procedure I recommend this wonderful consultant to anyone needing eye care for is excellent service Helen

Excellent course of treatment for cataract surgery. Pre-op full explanation in simple terms of what is happening in the eye and the procedures to correct it. Days of surgery very efficient and all went to plan. Post op consultation very thorough and final discharge following further explanations with visual aids showing pre and post observations with eyes.

I recently had state of the art lens replacement in both eyes at the eye correction centre at Spire Health Hessle. Mr Goel and his team are amazing and every aspect of care from my initial consultation to the operation and after care has been first class. Mr Goel is professional, skilled and an absolute gentleman. I was given explanations and time to ask questions throughout my appointments. The operation was pain free and quick , ( it took about 20 mins) and I was discharged home after a hour. The operation was a huge success , and I can see without having to wear spectacles , which is exactly what I wanted to achieve. I only wished I’d have had the operation years ago. I would highly recommend Mr Goel for this procedure.

Having had laser correction treatment years ago I was quite anxious about having cataract surgery as it can be more risky. However, I am really pleased that I came to the Eye Correction Centre and I am very happy with the care and treatment I received. The waiting time for the operations was short and only a week between the first and second operation. Mr Goel and all the team were very skilful and caring, and explained everything clearly.
