I had been considering eye surgery for a while but was squeamish at the thought of anything touching my eye. Dr Quah reassured me of how simple the procedure was, in a very honest and straight-talking way. I ended up going with LASIK. I could not believe how fast and painless it was. I'm talking literally a ~16 second laser followed by a ~6 second laser. Strangely I actually enjoyed the procedure. It felt like being in a sci-fi movie. My vision is now better without glasses than it was with glasses. Well beyond 20/20. Amazing.

I had Lesek PTK surgery on both eyes and I can't thank Mr Quah enough. I have suffered with recurrent corneal erosion for over ten years and Mr Quah was the first surgeon to offer me a surgery option. I am ecstatic with the results. Thank you so much to Mr Goel and his team, after wearing thick glasses and gas permable contact lenses for 40 years I can now see without either I have had really bad eye sight from the age of 3 which was long sighted, one eye was a 5 and the other was 7. I had intraocular lens replacement in October 2016 under Mr Say Aun Quah at Optegra Manchester and was delighted with the process and the result. Very professional throughout with reassuring staff all along the way. Recently I noticed a deterioration in vision, particular in low light; this was diagnosed by my regular optician as Posterior Capsular Opacification. Apparently this occurs in about 15% of patients and can be easily and permanently corrected. I contacted Optegra the same day and TWO days later Mr Quah did a small laser procedure on both eyes. Perfect vision was restored! Excellent service in super quick time and a huge relief.

Very thorough clinical examination and investigations. Very friendly staff. Took my dad to see the consultant ophthalmologist and he hasn't stopped talking about it. Keep up the good work guys.

I had replacement lens surgery in September 2018, as an active 55 year old with poor eyesight, it was impacting on life when running, skiing, snorkelling, badminton and at work. I was unable to have laser surgery and was too worried to have the surgery around 6 years ago. I found Mr Quah after doing some research. He was amazing, he put me at ease and I didn't need a sedative as he was so calming and reassuring. I had complete confidence in his ability and have been delighted with the results, I did not have cataracts and so this was purely elective. I had not met anyone who has had this surgery and one reason it took me so long to decide was because I had no recommendations to go on. I would highly recommend Mt Quah from introduction to completion he was a gentleman and a professional.

Great experience. Prior to surgery I had many meetings with my chosen consultant mr Goel who carried out all the necessary tests and explained everything in detail. The surgery itself went very well and the whole team were very compitant and professional. The follow up was also very good and I felt well looked after throughout the process.

I thoroughly recommend this surgeon, Before the surgery, Mr Goel carried out extensive eye tests to ensure I needed surgery , he took a great deal of time explaining what he would do, what his expectations of my sight could be and any risks the surgery may have.,He carried all this out in a most professional yet charming manner, no questions were too silly for him to answer. I underwent both eyes cataract surgery under the care of Mr Sid Goel at the Eye Correction Centre. I am absolutely delighted with the result. It has made a huge difference to my every day life. I discovered last year that I needed to undergo two cataract operations, for which he was my surgeon. Mr Quah came highly recommended through some of my family members. I can thoroughly recommend Mr Quah. From our very first meeting I was impressed with his professional manner and personal commitment and had complete confidence in his ability to deliver a good result. He performed one cataract operation (right eye) and one lens insertion to upgrade a 2007 cataract operation (left eye) to bring it up to normal vision. The result is 20/20 vision. What more can I say, except that I very much appreciated his competent caring approach and his willingness to explain and discuss the technicalities.
