Product is cheap, not working, and Customer Service is poor, product not working and Customer service will just email you back and forth with no solution.

After spending some time with the Rokid Max AR glasses and Rokid Station, I'm genuinely impressed. The glasses are lightweight and robust, not to mention the display quality is nothing short of stellar. Watching movies or playing games on the virtual 215-inch screen they project is an experience that rivals a personal cinema. The sharpness, brightness, and vibrant colors make it easy to forget you're wearing AR glasses at all. Connecting them to the Rokid Station elevates the experience, turning the glasses into a portable Android TV. This combo allowed me to stream my favorite shows directly in front of my eyes without needing any other devices. However, I did notice some chromatic aberration with darker scenes under the glass cover, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise fantastic experience. The Android TV interface on the Rokid Station is smooth and intuitive, though I wish it supported broader screen casting capabilities. Battery life is solid, making the Rokid Max and Station an excellent option for high-quality, immersive media consumption on the go.

The Max and station combo is like a dream come true! My old Android phone couldn't even handle Max before, but with station, I can access everything - YouTube, Apple Video. The only downside? Still no Netflix.

Overall, I'm really impressed with everything, but I have to admit that the price is a bit on the high side for me.

I'm a Switch player, and I use them to enhance my gaming experience. Remember to also purchase a hub, something that allows you to charge while playing.

Rokid Max Is lighter than other AR glasses I've used and seamlessly connects with my iphone 15. What used to be a video on my phone screen now becomes a 215-inch display with this gadget. The only dowside is the volume control, which could be more refined. Nevertheless, I'm considering buying another pair.

I own both the original Rokid Air and the Max and they are both fantastic headsets that I can recommend!

Rokid MAX delivers an impressive overall experience. However, I did notice some discomfort after wearing them for extended periods. Despite this minor issue, I'm still thoroughly enjoying the content and functionality these glasses offer.

Impressed I received my Rokid Max and Rokid Station yesterday. And one word - I am “Impressed”. Super awesome build quality of everything. Be it Rokid Max glasses, Rokid Station, the micro hdmi cable, or the huge glass case cover that can accommodate all cables and nosepad and glasses with cover and even rokid station. One thing that impressed me even more was the ability to play HSBS 3D movies from Rokid station and even from my apple tv without modifying any settings on these devices. With other AR glasses - playing 3D movies on apple TV or android TV boxes wasn’t possible. It was only possible with compatible android mobile phones, ipads, windows and mac laptops and required certain special video player apps. Not all worked flawlessly. But with Rokid Max glasses - no issues at all. Only one minor issue that I faced was missing USB-C cable in the rokid max box. But I have been using the glasses with Rokid Station via provided USB-C to micro-HDMI cable. And I had some other USB-C cables so this issue was very minor. Not a big issue at all. Rokid station has 5000mah battery which i could use for around 5 hours before i felt the need to recharge. All the apps I want - I can download from Play Store or sideload. Even though netflix doesn’t come with Rokid Station but still i was able to use it in high quality by sideloading. And this sub-reddit helped by providing information that i needed to side-load mobile version of Netflix app and it would require a mouse to function. So I used Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard app on my android phone. Later i also found a Mouse Toggle app that would let me use my Android TV remote as Mouse Pointer and for Scrolling. The videos played in Full HD quality. And plus side of using mobile version of netflix - i have an option to download and save movies and shows for offline viewing later. This option is usually missing on TV Versions of Netflix app. I could also very easily play movies and videos on Plex, Emby, Jellyfin, Stremio, Kodi, VLC player and Youtube. And the best part (already shared above) was that I could play 3D HSBS movies very easily on all these apps without struggling through settings. Oh and yes - I have myopia + astigmatism. So i was worried if i will be able to use these without prescription inserts. And i was so glad to find out that IPD adjustment (within Rokid AR app) and diopter adjustment helped me improve clarity of image on the glasses. Everything is crisp and clear at least in the centre of the view. Sides are a bit blurry but that may be due to my astigmatism. I will have to try prescription inserts for that. But my major use case is entertainment purpose to watch movies and shows without straining my neck and back. So I’m excited about my current experience with these glasses.

Rokid Max is the only product that I pre-ordered, and I must say, I'm absolutely thrilled with the product! I was blown away by the clarity of the image. The display is second to none, sharpest and most vivid colors I've seen in the market. The high refresh rate ensures that I'm completely engaged whether I'm watching movies, playing games, or exploring virtual environments. The speakers are also of very high quality. My friends are impressed, and I would say from both the social perspective and personal experience, it's money well spent. I wish I could share some photos here to show how cool it is. Another standout feature is the USB-C connection and cable. Especially Iphone now has USBC. While I'm thoroughly impressed with the current model, I'm eagerly looking forward to what Rokid will come up with next. As someone with a wider IPD, my only wish is that future products will cater more specifically to customers like me.(I fixed the IPD issue with the optical insert glasses, which can magically adjust IPD!!!) Nonetheless, the Rokid Max has set a new standard for what I expect from tech products and has earned a permanent spot in my daily life.

The Rokid Max has turned my perception of glasses upside down. I love wearing it out and about, playing games in cafes and watching movies on the train. My favorite thing about it is its privacy.

the construction quality is very good, as is the image quality. I tried to use the AR interface, but it is useless and practically non-existent, as is the attempt to view 3D content . The image is super clear with the only exception that the corners of the image are blurred char if I made all kinds of adjustments . the sound is very clear and is not disturbing for those around you I recommend them for air travel.

Loving the Rokid AR Max glasses. Honestly it's a huuuge upgrade from their previous Air glasses. Quality is insane, and pro tip: it's even better if you pair it with the Rokid Station!

I purchased Rokid Max a while ago, I am using it for approximately 9 months, 10-12 hours per day on average. For me, Rokid Max works quite well as a monitor replacement. Since I got Rokid Max, I do not use traditional PC screens anymore. I am using the glasses 10-12 hours a day or more, for approximately 9 months already. I do some programming, 2D and 3D art, often use command line (so I need to read text at the bottom left corner and bottom edge in general quite a lot), CAD modeling, web browsing, reading books, watching videos and photos, and many other things. Colors are very accurate after calibrating gamma at the lagom nl, and find them more accurate than on calibrated IPS monitor especially in shadows (this makes sense, since no matter how well I calibrate IPS, its glow and backlight leakage is very noticeable, especially at corners, but OLED in the Rokid Max glasses provide nearly perfect black and dark shades. Also, I found that eye fatigue is much lower compared to what I was used to when with traditional PC screens, because to look at a traditional PC screen, I needed to converge eyes on them, but in Rokid Max I can relax eyes the same way like looking at distant objects. I also prefer using Rokid Max as fixed-in-view screen, because this does not force me to keep the same head position, helping to relax neck and not worry about it, for me this is one of the reasons why I migrated to Rokid Max from triple monitor setup I used for over 10 years, not to mention OLED image is just better than IPS, especially after some gamma calibration I mentioned above. Also Rokid Max even with the blackout cover on still provides enough vision at the bottom to look at smartphone screen, or do something. So it works great for me overall. I think currently there are no better glasses on the market for this price.

I was an early adopter of this product. I do not remember how I found out about the ROKID product, but it appeared to solve my upcoming issue. I was moving and would be unable to work on my 47 inch HDTV screen leaving me only with my laptop display. I pre ordered the glasses and waited two months for there arrival. While I see the value of the glasses for gamers and movie watchers, my use was office work on a screen big enough to display multiple apps at the same time. More importantly, I would have no space for a traditional office set up. The glasses have totally freed me up. I typically sit at my kitchen counter with the glasses plugged into my laptop, which is on but closed, and a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. It even works on an airplane with the laptop cucked in to the seatback pocket and the keyboard on the tray. The on-bone sound system works very well. I cannot tell the difference between it and typical ear buds. This would be a five star product except for the following two enhancements that I would like to see implemented. 1. The vertical display is a bit larger than the visual presentation. I have to move the glasses up and down slightly to see the bottom or top that is out of view. Typically, it is the bottom and I move the glasses down when going for something in the bottom selection tray in Windows. 2. Would love to see the resolution at 4000K. While I can have two apps up side by side with the 1080p, I am really looking for the even better resolution so I can have more information in my immediate view. Bottom line, I now have a complete go to office anywhere I can plop down and throw on my ROKID glasses. And, it is an excellent way to watch streaming video.
