Excellent service and excellent meat.

I would have given this a 5 star, but for the packaging. The chicken tasted wonderful, as did the bacon and black pudding, although the bacon was so thin it WAS hard to cook in one piece. I would order far more frequently, but I really object to getting a large polystyrene box in my order, and ice bags filled with a gel I had to was down the sink. There is so much sheeps wool going begging to be used as insulating material, and the bags could have been filled with plain water. It is the box that really puts me off. Polystyrene, although very convenient for the sender, is a revolting material to use, in this day and age.

Just cooked a beautiful rolled fore rib of beef. Cooked and tasted wonderful and eat well. Definitely worth paying extra for the quality good heritage breed. Try it you won’t regret it.

Delicious and tender meat. Well worth paying extra as there is no shrinkage once the meat is cooked. Great customer service. Some of my meat was unavailable on my delivery date so they sent it the following day at no extra cost to me.

I have had a monthly subscription since the Covid pandemic & I continue to be really impressed. I regularly order additional meat in between my monthly delivery because the quality of the meat is so good. The website is very easy to use and the food is delivered when promised & tastes delicious. You can really taste the difference compared to supermarket meat

I’ve now had the bbq box, essentials box as well as some other bits. Really good quality tasty juicy meat that is just exponentially better than supermarket meat. Everything I’ve had so far has been delicious and the cooking and recipe suggestions have been great. Won’t be going back to the supermarket crap! You get flooded with discount codes too so had some good discounts and shared out with friends and family. Delivery super quick and easy too. Only thing to improve is packaging, understand the meat itself needs to be in plastic packing but think box could be either recyclable or even have a service to send back reusable boxes.

Some sausages use by dates was on the same day as delivery. Not happy. I received a refund, so happier, but the sausages went to the dogs. The 'vacuum packed' on the steak leaked. It wasn't vacuum packed. Useless. The food that i've eaten (sausage, featherbade) tasted great. Really good.
