It was the first time I’ve used Farmison and I won’t be using them again. I had a dinner party and wanted some quality rack of lamb. I ordered on line and paid £28 for two racks of four ribs. When I went to collect them I could not believe how small they were. I went straight to another butchers to buy 4 big cutlets as there wouldn’t have been enough. The cutlets cost me just £7 and were lovely. They say you only get one chance to make a first impression so I won’t be getting ripped off again.

Pork lovely, lamb rack all fat and bone, enough meat for one, wouldn't buy again.

It was delivered on time and placed in the safe place. The packaging was excellent. We've not tried a huge amount yet but the chicken we had was good.

We love the steaks especially Tbone and Ribeye. Just had BBQ and assorted meat box arrived. Great service and arrives the next day.

So pleased Farmison are back in business. Easy to use website still. Good notifications as well.

Meat from Farmison is excellent as always. What I am upset with is that I only now found out a part of my order was not delivered. It was a 2kg lamb, and in a way my fault for not checking thoroughly at the time of delivery. I only realised it now 10 days after delivery and so accept it is not fair to raise with Farmison. So in general the quality of meat is very good, but at the price point I for me the omission of an item to the order is expensive.

Offered me a 40% discount made a biggish order only to find out the day before delivery 2 items not in stock, got a refund but would have preferred to know exactly what is in stock then I would have amended my order, First time this has happened but I need to know what is in stock so plenty of excellent butchers out there so I will be using them now

Enjoy visiting the shop in Ripon. Merguez sausages are worth a journey.

Excellent meat Bought a beef fore rib and a brisket. Both were excellent, compliments from all 10 adults they fed.

I paid £57 for a rib of beef. Got an email the next day offering a refund either in cash or credit. I responded to that and have heard nothing since that was a week ago! Tried phoning them today and having gone through the menu and pressing the appropriate number to speak to customer service, the menu message kept repeating! Called back twice and got the same thing. To add insult to injury the Tomahawk (in the same order) was tiny compared to the last time I ordered one. Won’t buy it again from there. I am NOT impressed!!!’

as a single person am only interested in quality not quantity. Co, has changed ownership so will be monitoring for reduction in quality

The products I received were just as described. No chewey meat, all cooked well using the instructions Quality not quantity

Their BBQ box is superb value, lasts two of us at least three meals! And the steak was the best I’d had outside of a top restaurant
