Wow! What an amazing company. I met James from Metro on Tuesday and our wardrobes were installed on Friday. Great price, quality product and exemplary customer service. I highly recommend this company.

We have 2 wardrobe from them in our dressing room. We are very happy with their service. Very good and very quick. Reasonable prices. Now thinking to use them again for another room.

Like some other reviewers here we had our doubts.... We were impressed with the speed of response - installation booked within 1 week of finalising the design. The team that came was very professional and finished the job in one day and cleaned after them. Wardrobe looks great, is solid and looks exactly like the design. Would recommend

Although there was a bit of a delay with my Wadrobe doors being delivered - due to deliveries being backlogged, I can say I am a very happy and satisfied customer. Ranto is great! His friendly and warm nature made my decision choosing my Wadrobe’s so easy. He helped and made my whole experience so smooth and pleasant to deal with. I debated wether or not to give 2 stars, but decided it best to stay at 1. Where do I begin? The engineers visit: The "designer / engineer" that came to my house to help design my wardrobe was average at best. Out of the 4 wardrobes, we agreed to create 1 of my wardrobes too short in depth (meaning that when it came to actually building the wardrobe, I couldn't fit any clothes in it as the depth was too shallow) Granted, the end decision was mine, however, from a designers POV, I should have been directed more by MetroWardrobes as they are the "experts". The communication: Was some of the worst communication I have ever experienced with a vendor. My work is quite intensive, so when it comes to blocking off days that I need to WFH so they can come build, I have to plan far in advance. I made this note very clear to Metro wardrobes, but TIME and TIME again, they would re-schedule last minute. By last minute, I mean at 6:30pm sometimes the day BEFORE they were meant to come. This happened 2-3 times. This lack of communication had a knock on effect with my work / life balance and it was a growing frustration in working with this "company" When I called my "designer", Ranto, to discuss an issue I had with one of the wardrobes, I was utterly shocked by the way he spoke to a paying client. He turned our conversation into a shouting match, accusing me of lying, I was genuinely shell-shocked. The conversation got so heated that he had to pass the phone to his "warehouse manager", who is equally as incompetent.. I cannot imagine in my lifetime ever speaking to one of my clients that way. The workers: The workers that they provided for this job were very inconsiderate with my possessions and property. They didn't even cover the floor where they were working and began to cut wood INSIDE the property. After they were finished cutting the wood, there was saw dust everywhere (photos linked below). The dust went onto & into my desktop computer, camera, and expensive equipment that I own. Another examples of the quality of the communication and these workers was: On a day that workers were coming, I removed EVERYTHING from the half built cupboards (which took around an hour) and 2 workers came over to finish the job. When they got there, they had NO CLUE what they were meant to be doing, holding a sheet with the "plans". They started asking ME questions about where everything was and what to do. Nothing had been communicated from the previous builders to these 2 new ones. I had to step in and project manage this project at one point as they were incapable of doing it themselves. Bearing in mind I was also working that day, so I was losing precious time that I could've been working. If I could, I would give 0 stars, but the 1 star and the only saving grace from this company is that the quality of the wood is decent. I would avoid this place at all costs... so unprofessional. KEEP SEARCHING (I wish I did). I hope this company reads through all of it's bad comments and realises that they need to learn and improve from them. I hope this review helps someone make the right decision.

The designing process was seamless. Palak and Nassy were great help in the process of designing and ordering. Wardrobes were delivered and fitted within 2 weeks. The craftsmanship is excellent, accompanied with thorough fitting and cleaning after completion. Really happy with my wardrobes :)

When I got a quote and the time frame from metro wardrobes, I thought it was too good to be true. Not only was the price the most competitive between sharps and sliderobes, they could install 12 weeks earlier than these other competitors. I was convinced that what was promised would not be delivered upon. However I am very impressed with the final result. Although there were some minor hiccups and installation took place over 5 days instead of 2-3, it was done professionally and to a high standard. Would highly recommend metro wardrobes.

Used this company again after completed my daughters bespoke wardrobes 5 years ago. Good quality cupboards stood the test of time so decided to get for another bedroom. Luci and cupboard fitters very professional and took time to deal with install well.

The experience dealing with this company has left my building project behind time and a very stressed house hold. The fitters were terrible, they did not turn up on time, no notice was given, I have to constantly chase them for installation times. Mirrored doors were chipped on arrival, replacement delivered 6 weeks later was damaged. The workmanship was very poor, insufficient time was allowed the the installation. Metro do not answer emails, fitting manager is never available to take calls, nor any senior management and after 6 months they have not rectified the problems. I am going to have to employ a contractor to sort out the mess that has been left. appalling behaviour, they soon call you when they want paying but apart from that do not expect to here from them.

The men who came were so kind and helpful and definitely went that extra mile for us. Wardrobes were fitted three years ago and with normal wear and tear (and having four small kids!) they just needed a bit of tightening at the hinges and they came willingly the same day I called them and replaced all the hinges. So happy. Amazing service. Beautiful wardrobes x

Really good value for money. The turn around time was very quick and the team installing the wardrobes completed 2 bedrooms in 1.5 days. Metro didn't have the 'marketing' and gadgets of some competitors, but the work was professional, a fraction of the turn around time to competitors and brilliant value. We're very happy

I used Metro Wardrobes to get two wardrobes fitted in my new flat. One of the wardrobes was sliding and the other was a corner wardrobe. We paid 50% upfront before the installation. We had the worst experience with this company. The lady who came to do our design and measurements kept getting it wrong despite repeatedly correcting her with the colour and size. She attended our property twice (attended the second time after we paid £50) to get the final measurements wrong. She suggested that we get shelves on the side of both our wardrobes with a hole for the lighting switch which we couldn't remove. Delay in the installation: The company were supposed to start our job but informed us a day before that they cannot attend the next day because of issues in their factory as a result our project got delayed. Installation The measurements of the pieces sent were all wrong - and we had to ask them to cut the sections again - this further delayed our project. The drawers made inside the sliding wardrobe were also much smaller than promised and were cut wrong Even the shelves which we were promised would be curved on the edges were triangular in shape and half the size of the length of the wardrobe The cut out for the switch was uneven, scruffy and not painted HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, DO NOT USE PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY

Just amazing! Excellent service from start to finish, top-class materials and much cheaper than others. I was just about to place my order with Sharp Wadrobes but the designer was driving and couldn't take a deposit on that time and I decided to do my last online search...lucky me! £700 cheaper, 4 weeks quicker and plenty more options added than original project plus very professional Installation without a bit of dust!

I have had a very bad experience using this company, and I wish I had gone with the other company that I considered. The work is still incomplete, 2.5 months down the line! It is completely unacceptable, I paid a good amount of money for a fitted (bespoke) wardrobe. While it all started well, the service turned rubbish as soon as I had paid the deposit (50%). The works started later than scheduled and took longer to complete. The company was VERY quick to charge me, for instance, as soon as the work completed on the last day, they called and rudely demanded the rest of the money (15%), I was not even given five minutes to inspect the work. I had paid everything on time, so I paid the last 15% when asked - this was a bit naïve of me, because it removed the urgency and incentives for the company to fix their errors and mistakes with the build. It was supposed to be BESPOKE wardrobe, yet they did not follow the specific measurements I asked them to do for one of the units (I have therefore ended up with asymmetrical shelves), and the door opens in the wrong direction (which is very inconvenient as the unit is next to the wall). The quality is not great, one door was just sloppy work that looked of very poor quality. I informed my designer of the issues - I chased constantly, some 2.5 months later, they show up with a new door, which proved to be incorrectly cut! So, the fitters took the existing door and now I am left with an incomplete/door-less wardrobe. They are constantly making excuses and blame the errors on the company that make that specific door, however, it is just nonsense, no company would take some 2 months to sort out a mistake! Absolute farce! I deeply regret using this company, I felt that they ONLY cared about charging me, but they had ZERO interest in fix errors and problems with the wardrobe they installed.
