United States | 04 October 2022I received an email from Sequencing stating that my sample has been received, but I didn’t activate it prior to sending it. I replied to the email, which went directly to the help support group, which I found very helpful. I stated that I had activated my sample prior to sending it and I did go online and confirm that I activated it and it shows that I have. I include a few screenshots. I received a response from the health team within the hour stating that everything has been resolved and the kit does show that has been activated. They’ve sent my email to their engineers so that they can look into why I received the email in the first place. I was impressed with the rapid response, and that the issue was taken care of quickly.

Logan always expedited any concerns or questions I had regarding my experience at Sequencing.com. The health reports are very thorough. A 15-page document is ready to send or share with my PCP. One caveat is the outdated app Genetic Ancestry with Haplogroups. The haplogroup assignments from my WGS 30x from Sequencing.com provided no more information than 23andme or LivingDNA. I was truly hoping for a more derived result. I hope this app will be updated in the future; however, folks like myself, will have to look at FTDNA for haplogroup assignments further down the phylogenetic tree.

Thanks to your company, I have learned more about myself and my health in the last few weeks, than I have learned my entire life. Turns out I have dozens of rare blood groups only found in a few people, and very dangerous blood diseases that were not picked up by one of the over priced DNA tests that only checks for one or two variants of a disease. One of the deadly blood disease variants I have is so rare, there is only one other case in the world ~ You may have possibly saved my life. ~ Sequencing.com is the best priced company Iʻve found so far. And FAR more educational than the other company I was using. And much easier to search raw data. I highly recommend. 10/10.

I messaged customer service, and they got back to me quickly, and resolved my issue with no problems! Only a few days later did I receive my kit, and am awaiting my results now.
